| In the new era of quality development, social entrepreneurship,as a powerful manifestation of business model innovation in third-sector organizations,is dedicated to innovating public services and increasing social well-being.It is a combination of two mechanisms:modern enterprises and modern public welfare organizations, which can,to a certain extent, alleviate the shortcomings of commercial enterprises’ unlimited pursuit of profits and thus social problems, and improve the shortcomings of insufficient and unsustainable public charity.Social entrepreneurship is driven by a social mission and a commercial operation as a means of survival, and can play an effective role in achieving common prosperity and improving social distribution mechanisms. The development of social entrepreneurial activities is closely dependent on the right strategic guidance, and social entrepreneurship orientation,as a core element of social entrepreneurship decision-making guidance, provides important action guidelines for social enterprises to achieve social problem solving and economic value creation, and is an important issue in generating social entrepreneurial activities. At present, most of the studies on social entrepreneurship orientation arc qualitative in content and a few of them are quantitative in outcome performance, which are limited to the macro level and few of them consider micro perspective. In view of this, this study focuses on the strategic orientation of social entrepreneurship in the Chinese context and constructs a model of the relationship between intuition, ambidextrous learning and social entrepreneurship orientation based on social cognitive theory and the cognitive perspective of social entrepreneurs, based on which identity is used as a moderating variable to explore the mediating effect model with moderation. This study uses an empirical research method to complement the quantitative study of social entrepreneurship orientation, and 276 valid social entrepreneurship data were obtained through a questionnaire survey using Chinese local industry-certified social enterprises since 2019.The PROCESS conditional process analysis shows that(1)social entrepreneurs’intuition has a significant positive influence on ambidextrous learning and social entrepreneurial orientation;(2)ambidextrous learning positively influences social entrepreneurial orientation;(3)ambidextrous learning plays a partially mediating role between intuition and social entrepreneurial orientation;(4)identity plays a moderating role in the mediating path of "intuitio→ambidextrous learning→social entrepreneurial orientation".The positive effect of intuition on social entrepreneurial orientation increased as the level of personal identity of social entrepreneurs increased, with the positive effect of exploratory learning on social entrepreneurial orientation increasing and the positive effect of exploitative learning on social entrepreneurial orientation increasing. The findings provide a theoretical basis for the factors influencing social entrepreneurship orientation, enrich the content and perspective of local social entrepreneurship research in China, and provide insights for social entrepreneurs to correctly understand cognitive styles and form appropriate social entrepreneurship strategy decisions. |
