Study On The Challenges And Countermeasures In The Implementation Of The Party’s Strategy For Governing Tibet In The New Era

Since the 18th NATIONAL Congress of the CPC,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has attached great importance to work in Tibet,constantly enriched the Party’s policy for governing Tibet.At the seventh Central Committee Symposium on Work in Tibet in August 2020,General Secretary Xi Jinping comprehensively summarized the achievements and experience gained since the sixth Central Committee Symposium on Work in Tibet,made an in-depth analysis of the current situation in Tibet,and expounded the Party’s strategy for governing Tibet in the new era and its guiding ideology for doing a good job in Tibet.It has clearly defined the goals,tasks,principles,policies,and strategic measures for its work in Tibet at present and for a time to come,and made the strategy for governing Tibet “ten must-haves” in the new era.This summary not only summarizes and inherits the collective governance of Tibet thought of previous CPC Central Leadership,but also makes development and innovation according to the background of The Times,opening up a new historical era of Tibet governance strategy.Entered the new era,thoroughly implement the party’s governance in Tibet in order to is to do a good job of Tibet,but the risks in the process of implementation challenges more complex diverse,must be combined with Tibet in the political,economic,cultural,social,and natural geography,historical development,struggle the particularity of the international situation to analysis,make specific response.At the seventh Central Committee Symposium on Work in Tibet,General Secretary Xi stressed the importance of maintaining stability,developing the environment,and strengthening border areas,pointing out a new path for Tibet’s development,and pointing out that the key to achieving long-term stability and high-quality development in Tibet now lies in responding to challenges from these four aspects.In this regard,first,we must have a thorough grasp of the special contradictions in Tibetan society and firmly grasp the initiative in the anti-separatism struggle.Second,we should focus on the low level and small aggregate of Tibet’s economic development,implement the new development concept,integrate it into the new development pattern,achieve high-quality development,and solve the problem of stability through development.Third,promote ecological progress in Tibet,coordinate the relationship between mankind and nature,promote sustainable development,and improve people’s living standards.Fourth,we should implement an overall national security concept,attach importance to the relationship between various security elements and security areas,and achieve stability and security in border areas under the guidance of systematic and comprehensive governance.Only by deepening our understanding of the risks and challenges facing our work in Tibet and taking more comprehensive and effective measures can we implement the Party’s strategy for Governing Tibet in the new era and ensure long-term economic and social stability and harmony in Tibet.
