Research On The Design Of Yunnan Lichen Popular Science Picture Books

As a kind of unique science books,popular science picture books have attracted much attention.It conveys boring scientific knowledge to readers of all ages through vivid and interesting graphics.Popular science picture books can help readers better understand and master the relevant scientific knowledge and improve their artistic aesthetic ability.However,there are still many problems in popular science picture books: serious homogeneity of topic selection,simple expression style,etc.These problems have seriously hindered the development of popular science picture books to play its real value,so there is still a lot of room for improvement in the development of domestic popular science picture books.First of all,this paper reviews the status quo of lichen science and picture books at home and abroad,and has a preliminary understanding of lichen science and picture books.Secondly,I deeply studied and mastered the basic knowledge of lichen,including the morphological characteristics and the relationship between lichen and human.The content and form of popular science picture books are comprehensively analyzed,and the strategies and principles to be followed in the design of popular science picture books are discussed,including creation theory,performance strategy and design principles.Finally,Yunnan Lichen is selected as the topic of this popular science picture book creation,and the creation of the Kingdom of Lichen is carried out.Through the design practice of popular science picture books,on the one hand,the homogeneity of topic selection in popular science picture books can be improved to make the topic more targeted;On the other hand,watercolor painting is used to express the morphological characteristics of lichen,which enriches the visual expression form of popular science picture books and provides more choices for popular science picture book style creation.On the one hand,this topic provides a new idea for the development of popular science picture books and has reference significance for the design of popular science picture books.On the other hand,the dissemination of lichen knowledge is promoted to realize the diversified development of scientific knowledge,so that more people can know lichen and understand the importance of lichen to the ecosystem,and enhance the public’s awareness of environmental protection.
