With the development of the Internet and globalization, people’s cognition of the value of modernity and the concept of the country is continuously impacted.Constructing national identity is very key in maintaining personal security and unifying the national will. The Communist Youth League, whose full name is "The Communist Youth League of China",is a youth organization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Bilibili is an online video platform for different subculture groups to interact with each other. Most of its users are young people under the age of 29.In order to better guide the young people in the ideological aspect, the Communist Youth League set up its official account on Bilibili in 2017 and uploaded contents which cleverly tells stories of home and country with patriotic feelings in an entertaining way, becoming the main force to build the national identity in the subculture community, and has received extensive feedback. As the research on the national identity construction process of governmental accounts on Bilibili is helpful to understand the transmission and expression mechanism of patriotism in the subculture community, this study adopted both quantitative and qualitative analyses on the official account of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League on Bilibili based on the interactive ritual chain theory, and explored the theme and emotion of video and bullet screen discourses respectively through content analysis.By means of in-depth interview,we can learn the psychological motivation and behavioral characteristics of users participating in the ceremony, and through participatory observation,we can deeply understand the links and results of the construction of national identity. It is studied that political videos and positive emotional stimulation of the account are more likely to bring members of subcultural communities into the interactive ceremony and trigger people’s sense of national identity. The Internet environment provides virtual space for collective gathering. The platform and groups separate the ritual participants from the outsiders according to their own rules and unique symbols. With the bullet chats model, the common focus and real-time interaction promote the generation and climax of the collective emotion. Finally, community members form a clear cognitive boundary of "our country" different from "other countries",and achieve the identification of individual national identity and patriotic emotion expression in a personalizing way.
