| During the military training, the physical and mental health of the recruits was far below the normal level of the people(Zhang Xiaozhan et al.,2003).It is of great significance in theory and practice to explore how recruits can actively deal with the new military environment and its related influencing factors. From the perspective of positive psychology, this study studies the relationship between perceived social support and positive coping styles, and explores the chain mediating role of self-efficacy and psychological resilience between perceived social support and positive coping styles. The questionnaire survey method was used in this study, and the subjects were 1,041 recruits who were recruited into the army in March 2021.The research tools included the Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS),General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES),and Psychological Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)and Simple Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ),using SPSS20.0 and PROCESS v3.3 to analyze the data, the results are as follows:(1)The active coping style of the recruits is at a normal level, with significant differences in educational level, but no significant differences in urban and rural household registration and only child. The recruits’ perception of social support is at a normal to excellent level, and there are significant differences in educational attainment. The self-efficacy level of recruits is at the normal to excellent level, and there are significant differences in education level and urban and rural household registration. The psychological resilience of recruits is at the level of normal and excellent, and there are significant differences in educational levels.(2)There is a significant positive correlation between perceived social support,self-efficacy,resilience and positive coping style.Self-efficacy played a partial mediating role between perceived social support and positive coping styles, and resilience also played a partial mediating role between perceived social support and positive coping styles.Self-efficacy and resilience act as chain mediators between perceived social support and positive coping styles. Conclusion: Perceived social support can not only directly affect positive coping styles, but also indirectly affect positive coping styles by affecting self-efficacy and resilience. In the future, more attention can be paid to the improvement of self-efficacy and psychological resilience,so as to promote recruits to deal with emergencies in recruit training camps with a positive attitude. |
