A Study Of Character Usage Phenomenon In The Articles Copied By The "huang Men" Scribe Of Tsinghua Jian

The Warring States period bamboo slips collected and posted by Tsinghua University(Tsinghua Jian)is a collection of ancient Warring States scrolls collected by Tsinghua University in July 2008.Twelve volumes have been published.Li Songru has categorized the book scribes in the Tsinghua Jian,Tsinghua one "Huang Men";Tsinghua six "Zheng Wu Fu Ren Gui Ru Zi","Zheng Wen Gong Wen Tai Bo(A)","Zheng Wen Gong asked Wen Tai Bo(B)","Ziyi";Tsinghua seven "Zi Fan Zi Yu","Jin Wen Gong Ru Yu Jin","Zhao Jian Zi","Yue Gong Qi Shi";Tsinghua eight "Tian Xia Zhi Dao","Ba Qi Ba Wei Wu Si Wu Xing Zhi Shu","Yu Xia Yin Zhou Zhi Zhi",these twelve bamboo books written by the same scribe.In the text,we will be the writer of these twelve documents called the "Huangmen" scribe,the twelve bamboo slips called the twelve of "Huang Men" and the other.This paper will use the "The Warring States period bamboo slips collected and posted by Tsinghua University" published by Tsinghua University from 2010 to 2022 and its related documents as materials.This paper uses the twelve bamboo texts copied by the "Huang Men" scribe as the object of study.Based on Li Songru’s classification of the Qing Hua Jian scribe and guided by the theory of philology,this paper examines the use of characters in the twelve texts written by the "Huang Men" scribe of the Tsinghua Jian,exploring the phenomenon of character variation,and analyzing the correspondence between characters and words and the reasons for their formation,and further exploring the habits of the "Huang Men" scribe.The character usage phenomenon refers to the wording situation in the document.In this paper,we study the character usage phenomenon of the bamboo slips written by a calligrapher in Tsinghua Jian to grasp the character habits of the calligrapher and the character characteristics and related laws.It is of great significance to our understanding of the development and evolution of Chinese characters and the interpretation of other ancient written materials.This paper is innovative in that it is the first time that the 12 bamboo slips written by the scribe of "Huang Men" in Tsinghua Jian are examined in terms of their use of characters.Secondly,through statistical data on the twelve of "Huang Men" and others in a more comprehensive quantitative analysis of the character usage phenomenon.The article is as follows: the introduction explains the research materials,the current situation,the research method,the important and difficult points,the purpose of the research,and the related terminology.The first chapter illustrates the phenomenon of "textual anomalies" in the bamboo slips written by Tsinghua Jian’s "Huang Men" scribe.The second and third chapters collate the phenomenon of "multiple words in one character" and "multiple characters in one word" in the bamboo slips written by the scribe and analyze the reasons.The fourth chapter summarizes the causes and factors influencing the use of characters by the scribe of "Huang Men".In the Appendix,the data involved in the text are organized,and the abbreviations of the relevant literature are explained.In Appendix I,the twelve interpretations copied by the scribe of "Huang Men" are compiled with the latest academic opinions on interpretation;Appendix II lists the abbreviations involved in the articles;Appendix III presents a list of textual variants and word correspondence.
