Application And Research Of Coloring With Categories In The Creation Of Meticulous Figure Painting

The meticulous painting has a very important position in the history of Chinese painting.With the evolution and development of history,color has been influenced by various dynasties in the process of traditional painting.Among them,meticulous figure painting has formed a systematic concept and system in colar in the development process.The meticulous painting,which has always focused on the unity of object images and colors,colors according to specific image characteristics in the presentation of color,and does not excessively rely on light,shadow,and environment to produce complex color changes.Therefore,in the development process,a theoretical system of color design that "assigns colors according to categories" and "divides ink into five colors" has been constantly formed.Among them,"Xie He’s Six Methods" is an important standard for the evaluation of traditional Chinese painting,and it is also the theoretical basis for the creation of Chinese painting."Coloring according to categories" is an important theoretical basis for the color of meticulous figure painting.Nowadays,in the context of diversified development,painters have both inherited and innovated in "coloring according to category",which has made the color expression in meticulous figure painting increasingly diversified.This article aims to gain a better understanding of the traditional theory of color painting,namely,"coloring according to categories",and to further understand the "categories" and "colors" therein.This paper discusses the expression forms of traditional lady paintings and contemporary meticulous figure paintings under the concept of "coloring according to categories",and studies the traditional and contemporary coloring expressions.In creative practice,the three elements of color are the main arguments for discussing creation,integrating the theoretical knowledge sought into my creation,and innovating on the basis of inheriting tradition.The two can fuse with each other to achieve the unity of theory and practice.
