"Apple's 2022 New Product Launch Conference" English-Chinese Consecutive Interpretation Practice Repor

This report is a consecutive interpreting report of Apple’s 2022 Fall New Product Event.The content includes the introduction of interpreting,interpreting process,interpreting problems encountered and coping strategies as well as the prospect of future interpreting.Through repeated listening and writing of interpreting manuscripts,the main problems encountered in interpreting are the interpreting of terminology,misinterpretation,information loss,and redundancy.The author puts forward the corresponding coping strategies.The author proposes the literal translation and zero translation and hybrid translation and free translation method for the interpreting of terminology;the situational context and amplification interpreting for the information loss;omission and information restructuring for the source language redundancy.It is hoped that the problems and corresponding strategies analyzed in this paper can provide some reference for the interpreters.
