Since the Corona Virus Disease 2019 in 2020,Traditional Chinese Medicine in China have played an irreplaceable role.TCM has always protected the Chinese nation in its long history of development,and is one of the most indispensable and excellent traditional cultures in China.Effective publicity of excellent traditional Chinese medicine culture is conducive to making the public more aware of TCM and more willing to believe in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases through TCM.At the same time,it can also enable more TCM students and practitioners to firmly inherit the techniques and concepts of TCM.With the deepening of China’s emphasis on TCM in recent years,TCM needs a more intuitive way to publicize it.As a kind of publicity documentary,feature films are of great value for promoting traditional Chinese medicine culture.The graduation work "Searching for the Source of Chinese Medicine" focuses on traditional Chinese medicine,forming a complete framework for the image of traditional Chinese medicine,so as to carry forward the theme spirit of the importance of tracing the origin of traditional Chinese medicine.Through the narrative method connected by several sections,showing a young Chinese medicine practitioner’s views and practices of the development and innovation need to be traced back to the roots on.Carry forward the excellent quality of contemporary young Chinese medicine practitioners who adhere to the diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.It is conducive to letting more people discover the beauty of Chinese medicine through the lens,so that the traditional Chinese medicine culture can flourish.Through the exposition of the relevant creation theory of the graduation work "Searching for the Source of Chinese Medicine",this dissertation studies the narrative strategy,theme selection,theme style positioning,audiovisual language design,shooting scene selection,sound and painting unification,material editing and other aspects of the feature film of Chinese medicine characters,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the production of Chinese medicine feature films through theoretical elaboration.
