| Tang Xueyong(1900-1991)was an outstanding music educator and composer in the development of modern and contemporary music education in China.Throughout his life,he has worked hard in the music education garden for nearly 50 spring and autumn years.Focusing on music education,Tang Xueyong devoted his life to research and exploration in related fields,and made important contributions to China’s music education.All-round study of Tang Xueyong’s music education ideas is of great value and significance to deeply understand the development history of music education in China and promote the development and improvement of current music education.Based on the social environment and political background of Tang Xueyong,this paper will study and analyze Tang Xueyong’s music education thought based on the diachronic and synchronic factors affecting the development of historical plots,and strive to truthfully and objectively comment on the status of his music education thought in the history of modern and contemporary music education in China.The article consists of an introduction,four chapters,and an epilogue.The first chapter summarizes Tang Xueyong’s life course and musical contributions,and preliminarily analyzes Tang Xueyong’s achievements in music education.The second chapter is the most important part of this article,based on the literary theory and educational practice activities written by Tang Xueyong,the author will comprehensively study his four aspects of music education philosophy,school-running view,teaching concept and textbook selection view,and sort out and summarize Tang Xueyong’s music education thought.Chapter 3 analyzes the ideological sources of Tang Xueyong’s ideas on music education and traces the roots of its formation;Chapter 4 combines Tang Xueyong’s teaching practice,theoretical research and music creation,objectively evaluates Tang Xueyong’s music education thoughts,and expounds the enlightenment significance of his educational ideas to contemporary times. |
