Research On The Artistic Characteristics And Performance Of Beethoven's "The Tempest Sonata

Among Beethoven’s numerous classical music works,piano sonatas run through his career.The Tempest Sonata is his masterpiece in the middle creative period,which can be called a milepost of his works.The research shows that three movements of this sonata develop with great continuity,and the musical language is rich in drama.In addition,Beethoven effectively applied the symphonic musical language to the creation of this sonata,such as "string language","woodwind language","brass language" and "percussion language" and so on.By analyzing the creative background and ontology of this sonata,this article mainly discusses the performance skills of this sonata from the key touching method,speed and strength,pedal application and so on.At the same time,the author discusses the performance versions of three representative piano players from different schools,and then obtains practical research conclusions.
