In the 1960 s and 1970 s,a so-called "Mono-Ha" Art arose in Japan. Its existence is so short-lived that you might even call it a phenomenon. With the reflection on the invasion of European and American cultures since the Meiji era,and the prevalence of self-reflection and critical thinking, the “Mono-Ha”Art that was born subsequently combines Minimalism,Installation art,and begins to pay attention to Japanese-style concepts and expressions. They use a lot of unprocessed natural things or minimize the use of man-made products, conveying their thinking about "things".Since its inception,“Mono-Ha”Art has been plagued by controversy, including its(less friendly)naming, and cast doubt on its claimed revolutionary nature. In any case,“Mono-Ha”Art has the uniqueness of oriental aesthetics, and its significance is also extraordinary today. It awakens the traditional concepts and oriental aesthetic consciousness in the hearts of the Japanese, and continues to influence the creation of Japanese artists in the future. This article mainly explores the Japanese traditional view of nature, time and space and the aesthetic thought under the traditional concept through the analysis of the form and artist’s concept of "Mono-Ha" Art.And put the "Mono-Ha" Art between the East and the West to analyze its meaning and enlightenment. As a typical representative of oriental aesthetics and aesthetics,“Mono-Ha”Art has made an attempt for us,and it responds well to Western centralism.
