| English writing is one of the four basic skills in English language learning(listening,speaking or talking,reading and writing).English writing is an important part of junior high school English teaching,and it is also an important and difficult part in preparing for the senior high school entrance examination.In the teaching of English writing,teachers often waste their efforts to teach,but with little effect,many students even begin to hate writing under the training of teachers.English writing is not only a headache for students,but also a puzzle for teachers.The research object of this paper is junior middle school students who are primary English learners.English writing mistakes of junior high school students are common and unavoidable,which is especially common among junior high school students in rural areas.Mastering English writing is always a thorny problem for English teachers and students.Based on Corder’s error analysis theory and Charles Fries’ comparative analysis theory,this paper investigates and studies various errors in junior high school students’ English writing in rural areas,aiming at analyzing and summarizing the causes of these errors in English writing,so as to improve the teaching quality of junior high school English writing.In this study,111 English writing papers of junior middle school students in Qingxichang Town,Xiushan County were selected as the research object.By means of text analysis,questionnaire survey and classroom observation,the types of errors in junior middle school students’ English compositions in rural areas were collected,concluded,analyzed and summarized,and the students’ writing habits,writing attitudes,language thinking transformation in writing,difficulties and difficulties in writing,attitudes towards teachers’ evaluation methods and attitudes towards writing teaching were analyzed through questionnaires.It is found that the errors in junior high school students’ English writing in rural areas mainly include intralingual errors,interlingual errors and extra-lingual errors.The causes of the errors are mainly manifested in the following aspects:First,the influence of intralingual transfer,that is,students’one-sided understanding and mechanized mastery of English grammar and writing rules;Second,the influence of interlingual transfer,that is,the lack of students’ social and cultural knowledge and the influence of Chinglish,is mainly reflected in the fact that students are easily influenced by Chinglish.In addition,students’learning attitudes,learning habits,ways of thinking and teachers’teaching will all affect the level and effect of junior high school students’ English writing in rural areas.Finally,according to the research findings,this paper probes into the teaching strategies from the levels of intra-language errors,inter-language errors and extra-language errors,and puts forward targeted English writing teaching strategies for junior high school English teachers in rural areas. |
