Utilization And Industrial Development Of Ancient Tea Tree Resources In Jiuan Area Of Huaxi, Guizho

The ancient tea tree is an important and precious resource for us to study the origin and development of tea,the tea germplasm resources and the excellent varieties of tea.At the same time,there are obvious advantages in quality of ancient tea trees,but the systematic research is relatively poor.This research systematically combs and excavates the ancient tea resources superiority,promotes the industrial development.Based on the investigation and analysis of the soil properties and tea quality of ancient tea trees in Jiuan area of Huaxi,it was found that there are more than 54,000 ancient tea trees in Jiuan area of Huaxi,covering more than 6000 mu,and the soil PH value is suitable for the growth of tea trees,the contents of organic matter,total nitrogen and total phosphorus are all very rich,and the quality of tea is obviously better than that of grown tea leaves processed under the same conditions in the same area,the contents of tea polyphenol and amino acid were higher than those of adult tea trees in Jiu’an area.At present,the ancient tea trees in Jiuan area are mainly managed and produced by Guizhou Guicha(Group)Co.,a provincial leading tea company introduced by the local government,with an annual output value of about 55.424 million yuan,the output value of tea increased by 168 million through artificial cultivation of tea plantations in the later period,relying on this piece of ancient tea tree also drives the local first production-tea planting,second production-tea processing and sales,third production-tea culture tourism transformation and integrated development.The historical,quality and cultural resources of ancient tea trees in Jiuan area of Huaxi have obvious advantages,however,in the process of development and utilization,there are still some problems such as weak infrastructure,limited development,farmers’ enthusiasm to grow tea,strong substitutability of tea-related tourism products,and weak service and management links of cultural tourism,in the future,the development of “Tea culture tourism”will become an important form of the development of ancient tea trees in this area.
