The Exploration Of Life Time View In Huai Nan Tzu

"Huainan Tzu" is an important document of Taoist school,and the view of time is an important issue of life philosophy in "Huainan Tzu",which contains multiple structures including life and death time,destiny time and history time.The first chapter analyzes the time view of life and death in "Huainan Tzu".From the perspective of life and death and self-cultivation,it reveals Huainan Tzu’s understanding of individual life process."Huainan Tzu" regards life as an endless and continuous stream of time,and regards life and death as the result of the gasification of Yin and Yang and pneuma gathering and dispersing.The root of life lies in the Dao,returning to the Dao,in the ever-changing time and space,life itself is also in the process of continuous generation and does not have established nature.The second chapter analyzes the view of destiny and time in "Huainan Tzu"."Huainan Tzu" has a very rich discussion on the relationship between destiny,fortune and time.Destiny is a complex concept including time connotation such as time background and personal circumstances."Huainan Tzu" advocates an attitude of "being content with the emotions of life" and "being born in harmony with the heart" when facing the "destiny" that is unified with specific circumstances and inevitable trends,advocating "changing with the times".The third chapter analyzes the historical view of time in "Huainan Tzu".In the description of "ideal world" such as "the world of supreme virtue" and "the governance of Taiqing","Huainan Tzu" expresses the assumption and longing of the ideal society in the future,hoping that people can live in the ideal era with a simple and authentic appearance.It also criticizes the decaying world of cunning and competing interests.However,"Huainan Tzu" does not advocate blind adherence to conventions,but "change according to The Times".The time perspective of "Huainan Tzu" is different from the linear time perspective that is popular in modern times.It is a view of life time that unifies the past,present and future under the theory of yin-yang in the process of reflecting on the issues of life and death,destiny and history that must be faced in life.
