Historical Investigation On The Construction Of The Memorial Site Of The Huaihai Campaign

As a revolutionary cultural site built to commemorate the great victory of the Huaihai campaign,their construction and improvement are very necessary,providing an important place for spreading the revolutionary culture and inheriting the revolutionary spirit of the Huaihai campaign,and playing an important role in remembering the revolutionary history,remembering the revolutionary martyrs,cultivating patriotism,and promoting the construction and improvement of the local economy and infrastructure.Based on the war process of the Huaihai campaign,the memorial sites of the Huaihai Campaign were mostly distributed in Henan,Anhui and Jiangsu provinces.Affected by subjective and objective conditions,the construction of the Huaihai campaign Memorial Site was not perfect at the beginning.Later,with the economic development and the support of the state and local government,the Huaihai campaign Memorial Sites continued to repair and expand in combination with the development of the times.While Henan,Anhui and Jiangsu provinces are renovating and expanding the old museum,they are also constantly digging and adding new memorial sites for the Huaihai campaign,thus presenting the characteristics of today’s Huaihai campaign memorial sites,such as decentralized geographical layout,differences in building area and architectural pattern,solemnity in style,and homogeneity in content.The construction of the memorial site of the Huaihai campaign has important historical and practical value.It plays a unique role in inheriting and developing the military and civilian unity,the political wealth of the Party and the people,Mao Zedong’s military thought,flexible strategies and tactics and other military ideas contained in the Huaihai campaign,and provides an important base for spreading the spirit of the Red Revolution and conducting social education.However,in terms of the current situation,the construction of some Huaihai campaign memorial sites still has the problems of weak historical restoration and imperfect internal and external construction.By comparing with the same type of revolutionary memorial sites and better constructed revolutionary sites and relics,and drawing on the good practices of the same type of revolutionary memorial sites,we propose to set up a cross provincial organization for unified management,restore the history behind the memorial sites in combination with modern science and technology,establish a cultural relics protection mechanism Provide suggestions and solutions for the collection and protection of cultural relics,in order to better address these shortcomings.In general,the construction of the Huaihai campaign Memorial Site is of great significance.Each Huaihai campaign Memorial Site contains rich red resources.Therefore,the Huaihai campaign Memorial Site Management Office and the local government should adhere to the concept of protection first,development second,so as to achieve the sustainable development of Huaihai campaign red resources.
