| In the modern and contemporary era, there has been a great transformation in the background of the times and ethnic relations, and the creation of ethnic relations themed dramas has also achieved fruitful results. This paper takes the modern and contemporary historical plays on ethnic relations as the research object, starting from the diachronic perspective, first briefly reviews the creation background of the modern and contemporary historical plays on ethnic relations, and then selects representative plays in several different periods, such as the New Democracy enlightenment, the war of resistance and democratic founding, and the socialist revolution and construction, and analyzes the characteristics and value of the play’s purpose,To comprehensively elaborate and study the creation, characteristics, and causes of historical dramas on contemporary ethnic relations themes. The author divides the creation of historical dramas on the theme of contemporary ethnic relations into four chapters, which are also four periods, with time as the axis. The first chapter is the enlightenment period of New Democracy(1919-1930).The transformation of national relations after the Revolution of1911 has promoted the emergence of a modern nation-state.Drama creation is affected by the innovation of drama and the liberation of "human" consciousness. The author selects two representative works,Guo Moruo’s Wang Zhaojun and Jin Zhongsun’s Wenji Returns to Han,and analyzes their text content to obtain the creative technique of "lyricism and freehand brushwork" in the historical drama on national relations during the New Democracy enlightenment period The weakening of "historical authenticity" and the integration of "individuality" into history under the "new historical perspective".The second chapter is about the Anti Japanese War and the period of democratic founding(1931-1948).During this period, the national crisis intensified, and various ethnic groups continuously strengthened their sense of national community in the fourteen year battle to defend their country. The requirements of the real war background also brought the creation of historical dramas on ethnic relations to a climax during this period.During this period, the author chose Tian Han’s "Yue Fei" and Guo Moruo’s "Peacock Gallbladder" to explore the historical drama of ethnic relations in this period, which focused on the writing of national righteousness under the "War Enlightenment",the excavation of national unity under the "National Anti Japanese War",and the dissolution of individuals under the "Patriotic Theme".The third chapter covers the period of socialist revolution and construction(1949 1978).During this period, under the regulation of ethnic and literary policies, ethnic relations showed a phenomenon of "integration" between literature and political ideology, and a lack of "art" under high politicization. Here,Tian Han’s "Princess Wencheng",Zhang Fuqiu’s work of the same name "Princess Wencheng",Guo Moruo’s Cai Wenji, and Cao Yu’s "Wang Zhaojun" are used as examples to demonstrate.Chapter 4 is the period of reform and opening up and the modernization construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era(1978 to present).Since the reform and opening up,the convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 11 th Central Committee of the CPC has restored China’s previous ethnic policies. In constant adjustment and practice, ethnic relations have been significantly improved, and China’s new ethnic relations of equality, solidarity and mutual assistance have gradually been established. In terms of literature and art,the policy of "literature and art Serve the People, literature and art serve the society" has been continuously implemented, and the principle of "carrying forward the theme and promoting diversity" guides the creation of literature and art.At the same time, the return of the status of literary and artistic noumenon and the laws of literary and artistic creation have also provided more possibilities for literary and artistic creation.During this period, the author selected Jiang Chaogao’s Pingju "Hu Feng Han Yue",Tibetan Opera · Peking Opera "Princess Wencheng",and large-scale historical Peking Opera "Ban Chao" to showcase the "diversity" of historical drama creations on ethnic relations themes during this period. |
