Research On Shi Tiesheng’s Trauma Writing

Since starting his literary career in 1978,Shi Tiesheng has achieved remarkable success.His works My Distant Qingping Bay and Grandma’s Stars respectively won the National Excellent Short Story Award in 1983 and 1984.Memoir of an Old House and Fractured Pen in the Gap of Illness received the inaugural Lu Xun Literature Award and the third Lu Xun Literature Award respectively.The writer Shi Tiesheng experienced a tumultuous life,and after becoming disabled in both legs,he was long plagued by illness and fought against death.In the cycle of life,he continuously confronted the inner questioning,"Why do I live?" Despite enduring physical and mental trauma,Shi Tiesheng consistently sought the meaning of life through his writing.From the perspective of personal flaws,he realized that imperfection is an inherent form of life.With a mature mindset,he ultimately transcended his wounds and achieved a serene acceptance of the destiny of death.This thesis is based on the trauma writing of Shi Tiesheng’s works,and discusses the theory of trauma.At the same time,it is supplemented by psychoanalysis and narrative analysis.It deeply taps the uniqueness of Shi Tiesheng’s trauma writing and explores the practical significance of its trauma writing.First of all,from the three aspects of Shi Tie’s childhood trauma experience,physical trauma of personal physical disability,and collective trauma in a special historical period,it was excited to be unconscious personal and era trauma.Secondly,from the three types of trauma syndrome of "anxiety","desire",and "loneliness" analyzes the spiritual dimension of Shi Tiesheng’s novel trauma writing.Third,pay attention to the unique narrative art that Shi Tiesheng presents in the process of wound writing.It mainly discusses the text space and rich meaning behind the two aspects of narrative techniques and repeated images.Finally,the two ideological paths of Shi Tiesheng crossed the trauma.From the two aspects of religious spirit and love ideal,Shi Tiesheng seeks the exploration process of seeking self-transcendence and psychotherapy.Shi Tiesheng has always adhered to the writing of freedom,sincerity,and pure heart soul.The process of wound writing incorporate his ethical demands and human nature.Trauma is the common experience of human beings.Shi Tiesheng’s attention to the value of individual life and the path of psychotherapy in the creation can also inspire the healing of trauma in today’s reality.
