The Nanxi River has a long history of cultivation and reading culture,and there are abundant tourism resources available for development.A full understanding of the market value of cultivation and reading culture tourism resources can help optimise and enhance the tourism industry structure of the Nanxi River tourism area.This paper constructs a system for measuring the quality of tourists’ perceptions based on the current situation of the Nanxi River cultural tourism area,summarises the problems that exist in the development of the Nanxi River cultural tourism products,formulates targeted development strategies based on tourists’ perceptions,and gives recommendations based on local conditions,which provide a reasonable basis for operators to enhance the cultural tourism products and make the development reasonable and orderly,so that the historical culture of cultivation and reading can be revitalised in the new era.This paper uses a questionnaire survey to provide information on the development of the cultural tourism products.This paper uses a questionnaire survey to collect data,selects representative cultivation and reading cultural tourism areas in the upper reaches of the Nanxi River as research objects,designs specific indicators,and establishes a system for measuring the perceived quality of cultivation and reading cultural tourism areas in the Nanxi River basin of Yongjia County.The main findings are as follows:(1)Analysis of variance(ANOVA)reveals significant differences in the perceived expectations of tourists of different genders,ages,education and professions,and monthly incomes.(2)The IPA analysis found that the expectation value of tourists for three factors,such as idyllic landscape,cultural atmosphere of cultivation and reading,and public facilities,was higher than the mean value,and the perception value was lower than the mean value.From this,it can be seen that in future cultural tourism product development and enhancement,the focus of improvement should be on the three areas mentioned above.(3)Among the 19 survey factors,the satisfaction performance is positive,indicating that tourists’ expectations are higher than the actual perceived value,therefore,the cultural tourism product of cultivation and reading needs to be further optimised and designed.Based on the results of the research and analysis,the following productenhancement suggestions are put forward:(1)Nanxijiang Cultivation and Reading Cultural Tourism Product Enhancement should enhance visitor participation.(2)The tourism product enhancement of the cultivation and reading culture of Nanxi River should strengthen the attractiveness of the tourism product.(3)Nanxi River cultivation and reading culture tourism products should focus on the creation of a cultural atmosphere for tourism.(4)Tourism facilities and services should be ensured to enhance the tourism products of cultivation and reading culture in Nanxi River.
