| As we all know,we can’t apart from time in our life,because we contact with time all the time.As a way to express the time,the time idioms reflect the concept of time and thinking mode of Chinese people.At present,there are few researches on time idioms.The existing researches mainly focus on the comparison between Chinese and foreign languages,and few involves the teaching Chinese as a foreign language,even fewer researches on error analysis and teachinng suggestions.Therefore,this paper takes time idioms as the research object,discussing the ontology of time idioms based on teaching Chinese as a foreign language.And takes the corpus research,questionnaire survey and interview method to analyze the problems and causes when using time idioms by Thai middle and advanced chinese learners.Finally,puts forward teaching suggestions based on the investigation and related theories.The research of this paper will be divided into six chapters: the first chapter,we will sort out the previous research on the time category,time vocabulary and the teaching Chinese idioms as a foreign language,and define the research object,purpose and significance.And briefly explan the reaearch theory,method and the source of corpus.The second chapter is throughing collects the time idioms in Developing Chinese textbook series,the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education(2021)and the Classified Idiom Dictionary,analyzing the semantic categories,forms,grammatical structures and functions of these idioms.Chapter three,through the collected corpus,the author makes a statistical analysis of Thai chinese learners’ errors in using time idioms,and finds out that the students have semantic and grammatical bias.And on this basis a questionnaire survey is conducted,and further analysis shows that learners are easily affected by the literal meaning of idioms,in addition,semantic repetition is the main bias problem.In terms of grammar,the time idiom as predicate and object is a common difficulty for learners.Chapter four,based on the bias corpus,questionnaire analysis and interview,analyzes the semantic,grammar,learning strategies,teachers’ instruction and textbook arranging of the time idioms used by Thai middle and advanced Chinese learners.Chapter five,puts forward some teaching suggestions for time idioms from the perspective of teaching,including semantics,context,teaching method and students’ learning strategies.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,summarizing the content of the full text and the experience for the future study and research,and points out the shortcoming of the research. |
