Research On The Female Ideological Dissemination Of Sports During New Culture Movement

As a great ideological enlightenment movement in Chinese history,the New Culture Movement brought new ideas and abundant spiritual power to Chinese society at that time.In this historical context,the idea of women’s sports as part of women’s emancipation has been widely discussed.By collecting and summarizing the articles explaining women’s sports thought in newspapers and magazines during the New Culture Movement,and compiling and summarizing intellectuals’ opinions about women’s sports thought during this period,this paper uses literature,data analysis,content analysis and other research methods,and takes the "5W model" theory of communication science as the framework to study the following issues The research was conducted in four aspects: communication subject,communication content,communication method and communication effect.The study explores the process of disseminating women’s sports ideas during the New Culture Movement period,takes history as a reference,takes its essence,and tries to provide useful experience and inspiration for disseminating modern women’s sports ideas in China.The study mainly includes the following five aspects: First,it outlines the background of the spread of women’s sports ideas during the New Culture Movement,which includes the objective conditions of the development of women’s sports and the prosperity of the newspaper industry,as well as the influence of the introduction of western women’s sports ideas and the bourgeoisie’s reformist and revolutionary women’s sports ideas in modern times;second,it analyzes the main subjects of the spread of women’s sports ideas during the New Culture Movement,and finds that advanced intellectuals became important advocates of women’s sports during this period.Thirdly,by sorting out and summarizing the discussions on women’s sports ideas in newspapers and intellectuals during this period,we found that their main views were to advocate the enhancement of women’s physical fitness through sports training and to take sports as a way for women’s emancipation;fourthly,we studied the main carrier of women’s sports ideas-newspapers.Fourth,the main vehicle for the dissemination of women’s sports ideas-the press-was studied,in which two publications,New Youth and Women’s Magazine,were selected as case studies,and the reports on women’s sports ideas in newspapers during this period were collected and summarized.Finally,the author analyzes the effect of the dissemination of women’s sports ideas during the New Culture Movement,and summarizes them from two dimensions: historical significance and limitations,and finds that the dissemination of women’s sports ideas during this period not only accelerated the process of women’s liberation,but also developed the practice of women’s sports and promoted the ideology of gender equality.However,the content system is still incomplete,and there are many interfering factors in the process of dissemination,and the final effect also reveals its inadequate characteristics due to the differences in audiences.The study found that the dissemination of women’s sports ideas during the New Culture Movement was influenced by multiple factors.As an important way to promote women’s sports ideas,the press played an important role in promoting women’s sports practice.By studying the dissemination of women’s sports ideas during the New Culture Movement,the research sorted out and summarized the historical materials on women’s sports ideas at that time,but also expanded the discussion on the history of women’s sports ideas to a certain extent and provided a historical experience for the dissemination of women’s sports ideas today.Although some of these forms of communication are now in decline,some of them still have something to offer today.Sports are a social phenomenon,and sports thinking is characterized by time and stages of social development.Women’s sports thought during the New Culture Movement was dependent,often intertwined with women’s emancipation ideology,and functioned as a guide for women’s sports practice.The study of the dissemination of women’s sports thought during this period not only provides a glimpse of the emancipatory connotation of the main dissemination of women’s sports thought at that time,but also has historical significance for modern women today to establish a correct view of sports,aesthetics and the pursuit of their own emancipation.
