With the development of society and the change of parents’ parenting concept,books play an increasingly important role in children’s growth.In the past,people’s understanding of children’s books was limited to the tools for transferring knowledge,which led to problems such as strong preaching and less interest.These problems caused children to be difficult to understand and have no interest in reading.Therefore,the demand for books and the quality requirements are getting higher and higher.How to design interactive books that help children’s development is a question that should be focused on.From the perspective of design,this paper studies the interaction of children’s book design combined with early childhood education psychology.The article mainly discusses the interaction of children’s book design from the following three aspects: Firstly,it discusses the concept of interaction and book design,and the application of interaction in book design.Further define interactive children’s books,confirm the age range of the audience of this book: 1-3 years old children,and analyze the characteristics of interactive children’s books.Secondly,it explores the requirements of interactive design from four aspects: the characteristics of children,the subject matter of books,the publishing market,and the parents of children.Starting from the skeletal and skin development of the audience of young children,the enhancement of perception,and the nature of hands-on,the interactive design is required to meet the content of the subject matter.And as a commodity,books should also meet the requirements of the publishing market and meet the parenting goals of parents.Finally,it summarizes various forms of interaction from three aspects: multi-sensory participation,promotion of hand activities,and highlighting of the storyline.Let the children in reading will fully visual,olfactory,auditory,tactile involved in the cultivation of feeling;Improve perception in the spatial design of various three-dimensional pages.In the book to add turning pages,pull pages,rotating pages and other structures,increase the interest of the book at the same time,exercise children’s hand movements;Accessories increase the flexibility of interaction;Improve operational accuracy with hands-on creation.Cultivate children’s emotional interaction form.By highlighting the plot of the story,let the child learn stable emotions.This paper puts forward three suggestions for the future development of interactive design of children’s books,starting from the integration of folk art forms,the immersion of electronic books,and the use of new materials,and puts forward conjectures on the future development trend of interactive design of children’s books.
