Research On Chinese Sports Film In The New Century

As an important type of film,sports film carries forward sports will,shapes national spirit and spreads national culture,showing unique artistic charm and social value in the history of film.Since entering the new century,the research on Chinese sports films has achieved fruitful results.From the investigation and analysis of these results,it can be seen that the number of research results increased year by year during the 20 years from 2000 to 2020,and the research content gradually became interdisciplinary and multi-dimensional.The study of history attracted special attention,and the application of narratology and communication methods became more mature.Notably,since 2012,cultural analysis and market operation have attracted more attention.However,the comprehensive and in-depth study on the development of sports films in the new century needs to be further strengthened.On the basis of learning and drawing lessons from the existing research results,this paper makes a more comprehensive analysis of China’s sports movies since the new century,trying to have a clearer understanding of them,so as to provide beneficial reference for the development of sports movies in the future.The whole paper is divided into seven chapters,and the main object of analysis is Chinese sports film feature film in the new century.The introduction focuses on reviewing the existing research results,analyzing the current situation,using applicable and effective research methods,and raising questions.With the help of CNKI,the research on Chinese sports films in the new century is searched and analyzed from different aspects such as development stage,narrative theme change,film function change from the perspective of communication,sports film culture evolution and so on.For the second chapter,the third chapter,the fourth chapter,the fifth chapter,the sixth chapter,the seventh chapter has laid the foundation.The second chapter analyzes the film subject types according to the sports categories,which are mainly classified into five subject types: ball games,fighting,other traditional sports,extreme sports and e-sports.The third chapter makes a general comparison with the Chinese sports movies before the new century,and discusses the prominent themes of the new century sports movies,which are summarized as: emphasizing the rejuvenation of the nation,extol the humanistic feelings,and pay attention to individual growth.The fourth chapter,on the basis of type analysis and theme analysis,reveals the artistic achievements of Chinese sports films in the new century from four aspects of lens language,music style,interpretation skills and narrative style.The fifth chapter is the aesthetic interpretation of Chinese sports movies in the new century,mainly from the display of athletes’ physical beauty,the deepening of athletes’ emotion,and the sublimation of truth,kindness and beauty.From the theme,type,style,aesthetic pursuit and so on,the Chinese sports movie definitely have big progress in the new century,but in terms of the present stage,the existing problems are also obvious,such as sports culture resources have limitations,film narrative is relatively fixed,weakening ideological content,etc.,the sixth chapter is the existing problems are analyzed,The seventh chapter puts forward some suggestions for the existing problems,mainly for: to construct the national character of Chinese sports movies;Stories of Chinese elite athletes and traditional national sports events are selected as filming materials to tell unique sports stories in China.In terms of content narration,he refuses to formalize,and combines Chinese social background,cultural form and value concept to innovate and create.Rich narrative perspective and structure,improve the audio-visual level;To improve the aesthetics of Chinese sports films;Balance the ideological and commercial entertainment of the film;Strengthen sports specialization in film production.This paper has made a comprehensive study of Chinese new century sports films within its capacity,and the existing problems are also prominent,such as the lack of depth of discussion,lack of professional knowledge,etc.,which need to be further discussed and strengthened.
