Investigation On Nutrition And Health Status And Influencing Factors Of The Elderly In Old-age Care Institutions In Xicheng District,Beijing

With the continuous change of my country’s population structure,the proportion of the elderly population in the total population has increased year by year,and the issue of old-age care has attracted more and more attention from the society.The traditional way of old-age care is mostly supported by children at home.With the acceleration of social aging,more and more elderly people in cities choose public or private professional old-age care institutions to provide old-age and basic medical services.With the change of people’s concept,the old-age care institution may become a new and mature old-age care model in the future.Although there are many advantages in the actual operation of elderly care institutions,there are also some institutions that have some negative information,such as the unreasonable dietary structure of the elderly,which leads to the inability to keep up with nutrition,which directly affects the health and quality of life of the elderly.In view of this,this paper uses the theories learned,through literature analysis,survey visits,data statistics and other methods to conduct research on the elderly care institutions in Xicheng District,Beijing,mainly on the nutrition and health status of nearly 400 elderly people in Xicheng District.research analysis.The study found that the elderly living in elderly care institutions in Xicheng District,Beijing are generally malnourished,and their dietary structure is very unreasonable.Subsequently,this paper uses SPSS analysis method to conduct a detailed analysis of the factors affecting the nutrition and health of the elderly,and finally draws the following conclusions.First,in the elderly care institutions in Xicheng District,Beijing,the usual dietary structure of the elderly is unreasonable,which is mainly manifested in excessive intake of eggs and meat,but fruit,milk,fish and shrimp,soybeans and nuts.Foods are eaten very little.In the long run,this unreasonable phenomenon in the dietary structure of the elderly will cause nutritional imbalances,and over time,it will also bring greater harm to many elderly people with chronic diseases.Second,there are currently many factors that affect the nutrition and health status of the elderly in elderly care institutions,such as the rationality of diet,the management of chronic diseases of the elderly,the ability of individuals to take care of themselves,and the service level of elderly care institutions.The investigation and research on the influencing factors of the nutrition and health of the elderly in the elderly care institutions provides a good reference for how to improve the management level of the elderly care institutions and improve the quality of elderly care in the next step.Third,through the investigation,it was found that the elderly in the elderly care institutions in Xicheng District,Beijing still have some problems in nutrition and health,mainly in the unreasonable dietary structure,and the health of the elderly needs to be further strengthened.Through further analysis,the main factors of the nutrition and health status of the elderly in the elderly care institutions in Xicheng District,Beijing are sorted out.The main factors are that the elderly are older,their governance ability is not strong,and they have chronic diseases,which will affect their health to a certain extent.On the other hand,elderly care institutions also need to be further strengthened in terms of service quality and medical service level.In addition,through the empirical analysis used in the article,it is found that the nutritional status of the elderly is also directly related to the health of the elderly.Therefore,as far as pension institutions are concerned,improving the level of nutrition and health management of the elderly is a multi-faceted task.Systematic and complex work requires targeted formulation and improvement of the management level of elderly care institutions,improvement of service quality,and strengthening of logistical support.In conclusion,the research in this paper provides a high reference for understanding the influencing factors of nutrition and health status of the elderly in elderly care institutions,and also provides help for diagnosing the dietary structure and health conditions of elderly people in elderly care institutions in Xicheng District,Beijing.It provides a basis for improving the management system and improving the diet structure of the elderly in the next step for the elderly care institutions in Xicheng District,and attaching importance to the health management of the elderly.
