Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (Kidney Deficiency And Damp Heat Type) In Perimenopausal Period With Modified Zhibai Dihuang Tang

Objective :Observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine decoction with Modified Zhibai Dihuang Decoction in treating lower urinary tract symptoms during perimenopause.Method:A total of 56 perimenopausal women(45～55 years old)with symptoms of lower urinary tract symptoms(kidney deficiency and dampness heat type)were selected from the urology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2023.According to the randomized parallel control design,28 cases were divided into the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group was given Modified Zhibai Dihuang Decoction combined with basic treatment(life,psychological intervention,pelvic floor muscle training),and the control group was given flavonol hydrochloride tablets combined with basic treatment.A total of 1 treatment course(30 days)was observed.IPSS score,QOL score and TCM syndrome score were observed and recorded before and after treatment.SPSS24.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis after data summary.Result:1.There was no significant difference in scores between the treatment group and the control group before,treatment,(P<0.05),indicating comparability;2.Overall effective rate of clinical efficacy: 89.29% in the treatment group and 75.00%in the control group,P<0.05 compared by rank sum test,the difference was statistically significant.3.The total effective rate was 92.86% in the treatment group and 82.14% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant by rank sum test(P<0.05).4.By comparing the total score of IPSS,QOL and TCM syndrome,P<0.05 was detected in the two groups before and after treatment,and the difference of each scale was statistically significant;Before and after treatment,the rank sum test showed P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.5.The single integral comparison of TCM syndrome showed that in the treatment group and the control group,there were significant differences(P<0.05)in frequent urination,frequent night urination,urgent urination,waist pain and knee weakness,residual drain,pain in urine,lower abdomen swelling,and aggravation of labor before and after treatment.Between the two groups before and after treatment in frequency of urination,night frequency of urination,urgent urination,waist sour knee soft,residual drain,pain in urine,lower abdomen swelling,labor aggravation,the test comparison P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Modified Zhibai Dihuang Decoction combined with basic treatment is effective in improving lower urinary tract symptoms during perimenopause(kidney deficiency and dampness heat type).2.Modified Zhibai Dihuang Decoction can effectively improve the overall quality of life of women with urination problems during perimenopause;3.Modified Zhibai Dihuang Decoction for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms(kidney deficiency and damp heat type)during perimenopause,with overall efficacy the therapeutic effects in terms of urination status and traditional Chinese medicine syndromes are better than those of ketoprofen hydrochloride tablets.4.The patient did not experience any adverse reactions during the process of taking Modified Zhibai Dihuang Decoction.
