Clinical Observation Of Modified Gubi Tongxiao Granule Combined With Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty In Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis Of Cold-damp Obstructing Blockage Syndrome Type

Objective: The target of this research was to observe whether the use of the modified Gubi Tongxiao granule could improve postoperative pain and joint mobility in patients with cold and dampness obstruction knee osteoarthritis after unicompartmental knee arthroplasty,and to provide a new idea for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Methods: Sixty patients with cold and dampness obstruction knee osteoarthritis admitted to our * department from 2021-01 to 2022-12 were selected and randomly grouped.The control group(30 cases)was treated with unicompartmental knee arthroplasty and postoperative conventional treatment,while the observation group(30cases)was treated with modified Gubi Tongxiao granule for 2 weeks on the basis of this scheme.The VAS score,HSS score,knee circumference and serum TNF-α were recorded respectively before and after 7 days,14 days surgery,and the trend of change and change status were counted and analyzed.Results:All 60 patients completed the study.1.General information and preoperative observation indexes:There was no noticeable difference between the two groups in terms of general information before treatment(P>0.05),and the HSS score,VAS score,knee circumference,and TNF-αindexes were tested for data comparison(P>0.05).2.Intra-group comparison:HSS scores increased and VAS scores,circumference of the affected knee,and serological assay TNF-α values dropped in both groups after 7 and 14 d of treatment,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison between groups:After 7 and 14 d of treatment,the VAS score,circumference of the affected knee and TNF-α indexes in the observation group dropped more than those in the control group,and the HSS score was significantly better than that in the control group,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The therapy of modified Gubi Tongxiao granule after unicompartmental knee arthroplasty can remarkablely reduce the patient’s pain and accelerate the postoperative rehabilitation.
