Study On The Current Situation And Industrial Development Strategy Of Procambarus Clarkii In Changde City

In recent years,"crayfish fever" has swept the country from the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River,Procambarus clarkii industry has shown explosive growth,market prices are also rising,crayfish consumption has expanded from the first tier cities to most parts of the country,forming a hot situation everywhere.With the rapid growth of consumer demand in domestic and foreign markets,the consumer market is extremely hot,which has become a popular network in the nighttime world.From 2003 to 2019,the domestic production of Procambarus clarkii has increased by 2.038 million tons,and China has become the world’s largest producer of Procambarus clarkii.Changde City is located in the northwest of Hunan Province,with Dongting Lake in the East,mountains in the west,Jianghan Plain in the north and Zishui basin in the south.It is not only an important node city in the Yangtze River economic belt,but also an important part of Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone,with great potential for economic development.In recent years,under the policy support and leadership of the local government,rice crayfish culture in Changde City has gradually developed into a large-scale and industrialized stage.In 2018,the annual output of Procambarus clarkii in Changde City is 26000 tons,the rice yield per mu is about 500 kg,and the crayfish yield per mu is about100 kg.The total output value of crayfish is 1.23 billion yuan and the total profit is 698 million yuan.From 2018 to 2020,the output of crayfish in Changde City is 26600 tons,47500 tons and 56800 tons respectively,showing a ladder rise,with the highest output in Hanshou County and Anxiang county.From 2017 to 2020,the output value of aquatic products circulation in Changde City is 4 billion yuan,3.9 billion yuan,4.1 billion yuan and4.5 billion yuan respectively.In 2018,there were 4700 Ecological Rice and shrimp breeding households in Changde City,with an area of 290000 mu,of which 51 households(33198 mu)had an area of 500-1000 mu;There are 50 households with more than 1000 mu,91444 mu.In Anxiang,Lixian and Hanshou alone,the planting and breeding areas have reached 78000 mu,52700 Mu and 66456 mu,double the average in 2017.As a new industry rising in recent years,Rice crayfish farming can effectively coordinate the growth of rice and crayfish,reduce the use of fertilizers and pesticides,reduce the harm of diseases,pests and weeds,greatly improve the quality of agricultural products and improve people’s life taste.However,with the increase of production and output value year by year,the development of crayfish industry in Changde is also facing the problems of serious reduction of new area and shrimps market shrinkage,which are mainly manifested in single breeding mode,insufficient production and processing capacity,unbalanced development of industrial structure,etc.Based on the investigation of the development status of Procambarus clarkii industry in Changde City,this paper explores the problems that affect the development of Procambarus clarkii breeding industry in Changde City,and makes a preliminary discussion and Exploration on the ecological and economic benefits of Procambarus clarkii in recent three years.Combined with the current situation of Changde City,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three dimensions of breeding mode,product processing and circulation,and policy.The first is to vigorously promote the ecological cultivation mode of rice and shrimp,which has achieved the goal of dual use of land,water and food,win-win situation of crayfish and food,and ecological double income.It not only improves the utilization rate of land and water resources,improves the ecological environment,but also enhances the enthusiasm of farmers for grain cultivation;Second,build Changde Rice crayfish’s own regional brand,extend the crayfish industry chain,promote the deep processing of products,and improve the added value of products;The third is to increase policy protection and investment,do a good job in the guarantee and supporting services of rice and shrimp ecological planting and breeding industry,promote the development of rice and shrimp ecological planting and breeding industry,and implement the policies and measures of entrepreneurship and innovation of returnees to the countryside.To provide reasonable countermeasures and suggestions for the future sustainable development of crayfish breeding industry in Changde City,and to provide theoretical basis for improving regional economic benefits and promoting the development of regional economy.
