| With the increase in the amount of chemical fertilizers applied to flue-cured tobacco and year-round cultivation,the tobacco-growing soil in Xiangxi has shallow cultivated layers,reduced organic matter content,and increased soil acidification,which seriously affects the sustainable development of flue-cured tobacco production in mountainous areas.The powder ridge technology that has emerged in recent years is a new type of farming measure that crushes soil blocks and deepens the cultivated layer.In order to clarify the influence of ridge depth on the physical and chemical properties of mountain soil and the growth and quality of flue-cured tobacco,this study designed different ridge depths(30cm,40 cm,50cm,horizontal rotary tillage)with lime on the soil p H and soil physical and chemical properties of tobacco planting.The effects of flue-cured tobacco agronomic characteristics,flue-cured tobacco root system,dry matter accumulation,chemical composition,and flue-cured tobacco economic characteristics are expected to provide a basis for improving the tobacco-growing soil in mountainous areas and promoting the sustainable development of flue-cured tobacco production in mountainous tobacco areas.The main findings are as follows:(1)Powder ridge farming combined with lime application can increase soil p H,reduce soil bulk density,increase soil porosity,increase organic matter content,alkaline nitrogen content,available phosphorus content,and available potassium content.The effect of powder ridge 40 cm is the best.(2)Powder ridge cultivation can significantly improve the agronomic characteristics of flue-cured tobacco,increase plant height,stem circumference,and number of leaves.The best effect is with a ridge of 40-50 cm.(3)Powder ridge cultivation is conducive to root piercing,can significantly promote root growth,increase root volume,root surface area and root tip number.Among them,the root length and root tip number of the powder ridge 40-50 cm treatment are the best,and the root volume and surface area of the powder ridge treatment 30-40 cm are the best.(4)Powder ridge treatment can significantly increase the dry matter quality of flue-cured tobacco,and increase the nitrogen,phosphorus,and potassium content of tobacco plants,but at the same time the content of nicotine and chloride ions will also increase.The effect of powder ridge 40-50 cm is the best.The dry matter mass,nitrogen content,phosphorus content,and potassium content accumulated in tobacco leaves are the most.Powder ridge tillage has no obvious regularity in the effect of total sugar,reducing sugar and total nitrogen in B2 F and C3 F tobacco leaves.Powder ridge farming can increase the potassium content in tobacco leaves,but also increase the content of nicotine and chloride ions,with the highest content of powder ridge 50 cm.(5)Powder ridge farming is beneficial to improve the economic properties of flue-cured tobacco,increase the yield,output value,and the proportion of high-quality tobacco.The effect of powder ridge 40 cm is the best.(6)The results of the research on the effect of comprehensive powder ridge cultivation on the physical and chemical properties of tobacco-growing soil in mountainous areas and the growth and quality of flue-cured tobacco.The suitable depth of powder-ridge in mountain tobacco-growing soil is 40 cm. |
