In recent years, with the rapid rise of the diversity and motorization of domestic traffic, the complexity of college traffic is also rising, bringing a large number of traffic safety problems,so the college traffic safety has attracted much attention.Taking Tianjin University of Technology as an example, this paper comprehensively analyzes the general situation of the campus traffic system and students’ safety awareness, determines the high risk points of campus traffic, and then conducts continuous sampling and analysis of this point, focusing on the study of speeding, conflict and encroachment caused by unsafe behaviors. Finally, through simulation, the optimal strategy is determined. In order to provide data support and research frameworks for traffic safety management in universities. In this paper, the traffic safety literacy of campus students is investigated and studied. The results show that the commuting time of campus traffic is lower than that of social traffic, and the road familiarity, proportion of traffic categories and road traffic facilities are different,so the campus traffic belongs to the special traffic scene and should be studied independently. The theory of planned behavior can be used to study the traffic safety literacy of school students.Among them, attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavior control are significantly related to traffic behavior in school.Campus psychological security leads to the reduction of safety needs, affects the traffic safety awareness adjustment process, resulting in increased accident risk. This paper gives an overview of the campus traffic system, and identifies high risk points through route simulation. The results show that the traffic pressure outside the campus is great, and there is congestion at the school entrance and exit. The regional distribution within the school is reasonable, but there are more intersections,so it is necessary to pay attention to the collision risk at intersections. As can be seen from the path simulation, the paths of Hua Cheng Road,Da Cheng Road and Ri Xin Road overlap more with the highway, leading to greater crossover risk. Moreover, the campus traffic road is not fully utilized,so the traveling routes of motor vehicles and electric vehicles need to be optimized. This article investigates and analyzes unsignalized intersections on campus, studies the risk factors caused by unsafe traffic behavior, and then simulates and models them to propose the optimal solution for the measures. The results indicate that the instantaneous traffic volume of campus traffic participants has increased significantly, with a significant decrease in conflict rates during peak hours compared to peak hours. However, the proportion of conflicts escalated to severe conflicts has increased, and there are multiple conflicts at intersections, resulting in higher risks;Taking traffic speed, conflict rate, and occupancy rate as parameters for comprehensive analysis, electric vehicles are most dangerous during peak hours, while motor vehicles are the most dangerous during peak hours. The simulation results show that moving the traffic path away from the intersection can effectively reduce the danger of the intersection; Moreover, the impact of pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles on traffic cannot be ignored and requires targeted management.
