Research On The Construction Of Space In Huan Garden Of Huaqing Palace

This paper takes the Huan Garden of Huaqing Palace as the research object,which was built in Guangxu fourth year of Qing Dynasty(1878),located in the southeast of Huaqing Palace,and is an important garden within Huaqing Palace,which is a typical modern garden in Northwest China and inherits the classical Chinese garden construction techniques.Relying on site selection,backed by Lishan Mountain and Weishui in the north,Huan Garden shapes a three-level platform from northwest to east,selects key nodes of landscape and water to dye landscape architecture,and combines other garden elements to frame the landscape space,skillfully harvest the general trend of landscape and water,control the spatial pattern of regional landscapes,and carry important historical connotations such as Yangfei Chi in the Tang Dynasty,Cixi Flight to the West,Chiang Kai-shek’s Xi’an Incident,etc.,and contain unique local garden creation wisdom.This paper aims to discuss the method of garden space construction around the garden,and clarify the five parts of the development and evolution of the surrounding garden,the spatial pattern of landscape landscape and water,landscape architecture design,landscape space creation,and garden protection and inheritance.Firstly,taking the existing historical data as clues,based on historical geographic information,archaeological data,current situation pictures,etc.,the historical stage of the evolution of the garden is explored,and the historical evolution characteristics of the garden are summarized.Secondly,through Arc GIS virtual simulation,computer model construction,on-site measurement and analysis,the spatial pattern of landscape and water around the garden is constructed from three perspectives: three constructions in the garden(micro),gardenwithin-a-garden(meso),and large-scale back-mountain water pattern(macro).Thirdly,combined with the measurement data,the typical landscape architecture construction in the huan garden is classified and analyzed,and the characteristics of landscape architecture construction are summarized by combining the research of flat,standing,section,effect,flow chart and so on.Then,the typical landscape space is extracted,and the spatial organization of the landscape is analyzed from three perspectives: landscape pattern,architectural texture and viewing order.Finally,the research results are sorted out,the experience of the principle of the garden is summarized,and some suggestions are put forward for the future protection and development in four aspects: the garden space,the spatial pattern of the landscape and water around the garden,the overall relationship with Huaqing Palace,and the cultural connotation.
