Research Of The Functional Transformation Design Of Traditional Rural Dwellings From The Perspective Of Cultural Inheritance

Rural revitalization is the current key strategy in China,and rural cultural construction plays a main role in it.However,due to the development of urbanization,the problem of hollowing out in my country’s rural areas is very serious,and the emptying of residential buildings has become a common phenomenon in rural areas.Traditional rural houses are an important part of the countryside and an important carrier of construction skills and traditional culture formed by the Chinese nation for thousands of years.This leads to huge losses in our traditional culture.At present,there are still many traditional dwellings in the existing empty and abandoned villages in my country that are relatively well-preserved and can be used continuously,but they are abandoned because they cannot meet the living needs of modern villages.According to the geographical location,traditional value and availability of traditional rural houses,the author summarizes the current reuse methods of rural traditional houses,and selects the reuse methods of functional transformation for targeted research.Functional transformation,that is,the transformation of traditional rural dwellings from residential functions to other functions,can not only activate the traditional dwelling space,but also enrich the existing functions of the countryside,so as to better meet the needs of modern rural life.Through field research and case analysis,on the basis of summarizing the current situation and characteristics of traditional rural dwellings,the author discusses the functional transformation and design strategies of traditional rural dwellings from the perspective of cultural heritage with cultural heritage as the starting point.The first part of this paper introduces the research background,purpose and significance of the paper,and focuses on the related concepts involved in the paper and related theoretical research at home and abroad.The second part of this paper sorts out the types and characteristics of traditional rural dwellings,summarizes the ways of reusing existing traditional rural dwellings,and proposes the significance of functional transformation.Trends and Characteristics.At the same time,combined with the field research on the traditional dwellings in Wanjian Village,the existing problems of traditional rural dwellings are summarized,and the design requirements of traditional rural dwellings are demonstrated and analyzed.The third part of this paper constructs the logical system of functional transformation of rural traditional dwellings from three aspects: functional layout,space shaping,and environmental optimization,and elaborates on the design strategy of functional transformation from these three aspects.Finally,through the design practice of Yang’s old house in Wanjian Village,which the author participated in,it demonstrates and demonstrates the design strategy of functional transformation of rural traditional dwellings,and further improves the functional transformation design strategy of rural traditional dwellings.
