In recent years,with the development of society and economy,the problem of traffic congestion has become more and more serious.The existing fixed timing method cannot change the timing of traffic lights according to the traffic flow on the road to achieve real-time road dredging,resulting in low resource utilization.Based on this background,this paper studies intelligent transportation from two aspects of traffic flow detection and traffic timing optimization,and obtains the following results.1.This paper proposes a traffic flow monitoring algorithm.The algorithm detects the traffic flow on the road in real time by monitoring the video.Compared with the sensor method,it has the advantages of low cost,high efficiency and high precision.The algorithm preprocesses the input image,and then uses the optimized ViBe algorithm to obtain the background image and foreground vehicle target,and performs morphological processing on the image.In the traffic flow detection stage,the detection of road vehicles is completed through the change of pixel values on the virtual detection line.In the test stage,the actual road shooting video is used as the data source,and the traffic flow statistics and analysis are carried out on the road video under the constraints of sunny day and night,respectively.The results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.2.This paper establishes a multi-objective traffic signal timing mathematical model constrained by the average vehicle delay,average number of stops and traffic efficiency at a single intersection,and uses an algorithm to solve the model function.After introducing the reasons for choosing the particle swarm optimization algorithm,the parameter inertia weight of the intelligent algorithm is optimized and improved by mathematical formula,and the optimization function of the algorithm is enhanced.By using the intelligent algorithm before and after optimization to solve the objective function,the superiority of the optimized algorithm is proved.Using the optimized algorithm to solve the signal timing model,and using the VISSIM model simulation test,the effects of the timing algorithm,Webster timing method and road fixed-period timing method in the morning and evening peak periods and the peak periods are compared.The proposed algorithm effectively alleviates the adaptation problem between cycle time and traffic volume,thereby reducing delay time and improving road traffic efficiency,which proves the effectiveness of the multi-objective traffic signal timing mathematical model proposed in this paper.
