Study On The Plane Form Of Tujia Traditional Dwellings In Western Hunan

The Tujia people in western Hunan have created the artistic value of traditional dwellings with regional characteristics in western Hunan.The Tujia traditional dwellings in western Hunan are not only the most direct living existence of Tujia culture in western Hunan,but also continue to write a large chapter in the history of the civilization of various ethnic minorities in western Hunan.Its plane form is undoubtedly an important carrier for inheriting regional cultural genes.The evolution of plane form records the development process of Tujia traditional villages in western Hunan.The regional characteristics revealed by the plane form of traditional dwellings come from the tempering and cohesion of the long history of Tujia ancestors.With the extensive and profound Tujia ancestors in western Hunan to create wisdom,this is both a historical choice and a future direction.This paper takes the traditional Tujia dwellings in western Hunan as the basic research object,and uses the theory of typology to analyze the typical plane forms of Tujia traditional dwellings.A detailed description and analysis of the functional divisions,spatial organization,spatial characteristics,living patterns,combination forms,and plane scales of each plane form was carried out.On this basis,the relevant influences of several humanistic and natural factors on the plane form of the Tujia traditional dwellings in western Hunan are discussed.With the help of ArcGIS,a comparative analysis of the prevailing plane forms of traditional dwellings in the study area is carried out,on this basis,explores the modern translation characteristics of the plane form,and provides a reference for the sustainable development and protection of traditional Tujia traditional dwellings in the future.The following conclusions are drawn from the research on the plane form of traditional Tujia dwellings in western Hunan:First,the plane forms of traditional Tujia dwellings in western Hunan have the characteristics of diversity,which is affected by many factors.Second,there is a linkage between various influencing factors,which jointly restrict and affect the evolution and development of the plane form of Tujia dwellings in western Hunan.The regularity of the temporal and spatial evolution of the plane form reflects the local conditions.Thirdly,we can draw lessons from the essence of the construction techniques in the plane form of the traditional dwellings of Tujia people in western Hunan,excavate its unique revelation of the times,and interpret the traditional plane space form in the creation of modern architecture.Fourth,the traditional residences of Tujia people in western Hunan are the carrier of national history and culture.Therefore,their protection and development work must be rooted in the national culture,and appropriate flat types of residences should be selected in the process of repair and reconstruction.
