With the continuous development of China’s economy,higher requirements have been put forward for heavy haul railway transportation in China.Since trains on heavy haul railways are generally transported in a direct mode and the trains only operate at the terminal station,without stopping at the intermediate stations.Therefore,the initial technical station of heavy haul railway has become the key point that restricts the capacity of heavy haul railway.In this paper,the train marshalling scheme and departure strategy in the technical station are considered integrally,an optimization model is constructed,and the heuristic algorithm is used to solve the model in order to improve the transportation capacity of heavy haul railway lines.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper analyzes the operation organization in the initial technical station of heavy haul railway,and extracts the difficult problems of optimizing the train operation organization in the initial technical station and the influencing factors of the technical station on the transportation capacity of heavy haul railway lines.In order to meet the demand of improving the transportation capacity of different heavy haul railway lines,three different optimization schemes are proposed for the optimization of train marshalling scheme and departure strategy in the initial technical station,namely,“marshalling optimization scheme considering single route departure”,“integrated marshalling optimization scheme considering the setting of virtual signal” and“integrated marshalling optimization scheme considering multiple routes departure”.Among them,in the marshalling optimization scheme considering single route departure,the heavy haul trains in the initial technical station are operated in fixed block,and the marshalling scheme of the trains in the initial technical station is optimized.In the integrated marshalling optimization scheme considering the setting of virtual signal,the heavy haul trains in the initial technical station run out of the station in the moving block,and the train marshalling scheme in initial technical stations and the train outbound tracking strategies are optimized and solved integrally.In the integrated marshalling optimization scheme considering multiple routes departure,the heavy haul trains exit the station in moving block,and multiple outbound routes are opened in the station,and the train marshalling schemes,the train outbound tracking strategies and outbound route selection of heavy haul trains in the technical station are optimized and solved integrally.In the process of analyzing the characteristics of these three schemes,the constraints such as the departure time of heavy haul trains,the selection of arrival-departure tracks,the number of arrival-departure tracks in stations,the replacement of traction locomotives and the limitations of each scheme are emphatically considered.The optimization model of train marshalling scheme and departure strategy in the heavy haul train technical station under the overall operation process is constructed.Then,according to the optimization model characteristics and problem’s solving dimensions constructed by the above three schemes,a model solving method based on mixed flora-discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed.Finally,this paper selects the actual data of a initial technical station of a heavy haul railway as a research case,and uses three schemes in this paper for simulation and verification respectively.The simulation results show that compared with the existing scheme,the three schemes can improve the transportation capacity of the heavy haul railway by 4.55%,18.18% and 27.27%,respectively,which verifies that the different optimization schemes provided in this paper are feasible for improving the transportation capacity of the heavy haul railway.Figure 15,Table 21,Reference 61.
