The development of unconventional resources mainly adopts the model of horizontal well plus volumetric stimulation.Among the segmentation technologies,Bridge plug has become the main segmentation technology with the advantages of lager size,larger pump rate,unlimited stages.With the unconventional resources have poorer and poorer properties and increasing higher requirement of safety and environment,cluster well and factory operation in hydraulic fracturing have been more popular,and segmentation technology has higher requirements.The segmentation technology of bridge plug faces the requirements of high efficiency,intelligences,safety,and green.Especially,the joint operation of segmentation by bridge plug and perforation needs significant improvement in the perspectives of efficiency and safety.Therefore.There exist urgent needs on the research of new technologies and new tools.This paper conducted a research on installation,pumping,positioning,setting,and release of bridge shot linkage in the joint operation of bridge plug and perforation with the methods of theoretical analysis,lab testing,and field application.Aiming at the problems of inaccurate identifying of casing coupling,unreliable ground identifying the tension stress of cable in horizontal section,low efficiency of ground dismounting,reliability of releasing bridge perforation shot string when plugged,and high risk of safety and environment when setting bridge plug through conventional gun powder under high-speed delivery conditions,through field survey,tool manufacturing,lab test,and field test,conducted research on high-speed delivery,downhole measuring tension stress of cable,fast mounting of tool string of bridge plug and perforation,safely release of tool string,and safe setting of bridge plug,and did comprehensive evaluation of reliability.Finally,the new technology was applied to Changqing oil field,based on which the effectiveness,economic performance,and reliability of the technology was validated.The study shows that the five new developed tools including high-speed pump-delivered magnetic locator,downhole tension measurement tool,fast plug-in multi-level controller,fusible bridle,and electric hydraulic setting tool meet all the designed requirements of temperature resistance,pressure resistance,tensile strength,and impact resistance.They effectively solved the problems of fast identifing of casing coupling,downhole tension measurement,fast mounting on the ground,safely releasing of tool string,and electronic hydraulic setting.The cumulative application is over 1000 wells in Changqing Oilfield.The comprehensive operation time of a single stage was shortened from 3.5h to 2.6h,with 25.7% efficiency increase.The new technology raises efficiency of joint operation of bridge plug and perforation,decreases labor burden,ensures operation safety,and meets the requirements of longer horizontal lateral,more stages,larger stimulation volume,faster putting on production,and lower cost in volumetric fracturing in horionztal wells.
