Yi dyeing and weaving techniques in Dongshan Township,Weishan County are rich in variety and distinctive in characteristics,which are well preserved,but few people know about them.This paper focuses on the innovative application of Yi dyeing weaving craft in Dongshan Township,Weishan County,aiming to explore the application of traditional craft in modern clothing fabrics,enrich creative thinking and expand artistic expression forms,so as to better protect and inherit the traditional dyeing weaving craft of Yi ethnic group in Dongshan Township,Weishan County.By screening the representative dyeing and weaving techniques of Yi ethnic group in Dongshan Township,the author analyzes its artistic characteristics as a whole and individual cases from different perspectives of pattern decoration,color application,material selection and characteristic techniques,draws inspiration from the clothing fabric as an experiment,and completes the creative practice of traditional dyeing and weaving techniques of Yi ethnic group in Dongshan Township in clothing fabric.There are four main research methods adopted in this paper,which are the combination of theory and practice,including literature research,case analysis,field investigation and practice.This paper is divided into three parts: the first part is the preface.The source and basis of the subject are summarized briefly,and the research background related to this topic is analyzed and elaborated to some extent.By referring to the data,the research status of dyeing weaving embroidery of Yi ethnic group in Dongshan Township of Weishan County is summarized,and its application cases are analyzed.Therefore,the purpose and significance of the research are introduced,and the innovation points of this paper are summarized.Finally,the main research content and methods of this paper are summarized and elaborated systematically.The second part is the general situation of Yi dyeing and weaving culture in Dongshan Township,extracting characteristic cultural genes from natural environment,cultural environment and dyeing and weaving technology development status.The third part expounds the creation attempt and practice process of Yi ethnic group dyeing weaving embroidery in Dongshan Township,Weishan County.Starting from the four aspects of tie dyeing,weaving,rolling felt and embroidery in Dongshan Township,the characteristics of the skills are summarized.Through the five aspects of inspiration source,pattern extraction,color application,material selection and application,and process practice,the creation and practice process of Yi ethnic group dyeing embroidery in the clothing fabric is described.Through the application practice of Yi dyeing weaving technology in Dongshan Township on clothing fabrics,the following conclusions are drawn: First,we should recognize the uniqueness and ethnic characteristics of Yi dyeing weaving technology in Dongshan Township,dig and learn it,inherit excellent ethnic folk traditional skills,and use and play a reasonable role in contemporary society.Secondly,explore the application of Yi dyeing embroidery technology in clothing fabrics.Skills with regional characteristics and ethnic cultural connotation of Dongshan Township will be better presented in the series of works,to continue the cultural genes and technological characteristics behind them,and to continue to practice and innovate,in order to explore more paths for the inheritance and development of ethnic folk traditional skills.
