Research On The Application Of Auspicious Patterns In Taohuawu New Year Paintings In China-chic Clothing Design

With the increasing comprehensive national strength of China and the continuous improvement of national cultural self-confidence,China-chic has become a hot spot in the current clothing market,which is concerned by Chinese people and sought after by consumers,and has great market potential.In the existing national tide clothing,design elements such as festive patterns,colors,and texts have been widely used.As one of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage,Taohuawu New Year Pictures’ auspicious patterns,as visual symbols,embody the unique auspicious cultural connotation and aesthetic standards in the Jiangnan region.They have rich and precious cultural values and great innovative development significance.Through in-depth study of the visual elements and auspicious cultural connotations of the auspicious patterns in the Taohuawu New Year paintings,a new creative space can be opened for the design of China-chic clothing,and the intangible cultural heritage can be better inherited and developed through clothing.This thesis takes the auspicious patterns in Taohuawu New Year pictures as the research object.Starting from the general situation of the auspicious patterns in Taohuawu New Year pictures,it excavates the cultural connotation and auspicious meaning behind the patterns,forms a more systematic theoretical basis,and then studies the expression of the auspicious patterns in Taohuawu New Year pictures in China-chic clothing design.The case study method is used to analyze the types,artistic characteristics and integration design techniques of auspicious patterns in China-chic clothing on the market.Using the comparative research method,this thesis makes a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between China-chic clothing and the auspicious patterns in the Taohuawu New Year paintings,and explores the possibility of organic integration between the two.The innovative design of traditional auspicious patterns was carried out by using the two design methods of element extraction and element reconstruction.Finally,through a series of design practice,application and test of theoretical results,it broadens the ideas for the pattern design of China-chic clothing.This thesis takes the Taohuawu New Year painting,which is hindered in the development of modern society,as an example.On the basis of retaining the charm of traditional culture,the traditional auspicious patterns in Taohuawu New Year painting are simplified-abstract-combined,and the organic combination of traditional culture and modern design is realized through modern innovative techniques.It is necessary for designers to refine,reconstruct and redesign the excellent traditional cultural elements,so as to realize the emotional communication between consumers and things,and promote the integration and development of traditional intangible cultural heritage and modern elements.
