Research On Infrared Responsive Coated Fabric

With the development of infrared detection technology,the safety of personnel and equipment is threatened,In order to improve the anti-infrared performance of textiles.In this paper,the infrared responsivity of different materials was studied in this paper.And according to the near-infrared reflectivity,infrared emissivity and infrared thermal imaging,different materials were used for different infrared detection methods.Firstly,the phase change material was coated by microcapsule technology,and the preparation process conditions were optimized,including core-wall ratio,ultrasonic emulsification time,emulsifier dosage and water-oil ratio.The phase change material microcapsules were characterized by SEM,FTIR,DSC,XRD,TG and other means.And the fabric with thermal infrared camouflage effect was prepared by coating the microcapsules.Meanwhile,yellow pigments and blue pigments were compounded to obtain green visible light camouflage pigments.And then,metal powder,zirconium carbide,etc.were compounded with green pigments to make green camouflage coated fabrics.The metal aluminum powder which could reduce the infrared emissivity was screened and studied.Finally,the coating process was optimized to prepare the coated fabric with low infrared emissivity.The research results of this study were summarized as the following parts:(1)Medium yellow FG,light yellow F7 G,orange FG and brilliant blue FBL had higher reflectivity in the range of 780-2500 nm,with an average reflectivity of 77 %.The average reflectivity of blue FFG and navy-blue FR in the range of 780-2500 nm were 40 % and 60 %,respectively.(2)Metallic aluminum powder,iron powder,zirconium carbide and other materials could adjust the reflectivity.Metallic aluminum powder also had a great influence on the infrared emissivity,which could reduce the fabric infrared emissivity by 20 %.And Phase change materials had a great influence on temperature,and it took a long time to reach the same temperature as the heat source,which had a certain camouflage effect.(3)Through FTIR,SEM,XRD and other characterization means,it was proved that 1-Tetradecanol was successfully coated into microcapsules of phase change materials.And the optimal process was determined by orthogonal experiment.The core-wall ratio was 3:1,the ultrasonic emulsification time was 3 min,the emulsifier dosage was 5%,and the water-oil ratio was 3:1.The latent heat of microcapsule phase change measured by DSC was 98 J/g.The coated fabric could shield the heat source for60 s,and the coated fabric had a good thermal infrared camouflage effect.(4)The color difference between the green pigment prepared by blending medium yellow FG: blue FFG with the mass ratio of 8:2 and the standard green camouflage MG1148 was the smallest,and the coated fabric made of it and 1.2% zirconium carbide can largely meet the requirements of the spectral channel of the standard green camouflage coating,and the green camouflage coated fabric also had good wearability.(5)The influence of the particle size,dosage,and coating thickness of flake aluminum powder on the infrared emissivity of coating was studied.Through orthogonal experiment,the optimal scheme was determined as follows: the particle size of flake aluminum was 200 mesh,the content was 15 %,and the coating thickness was0.2 mm.The wearability test of the low infrared emissivity coated fabric showed that the breaking strength of the coated fabric was improved,and the fabric had certain washing and friction resistance.
