For the long-term transportation of hazardous chemical tankers in a complex transport environment resulting in the tank body liquid impact of leakage,explosion,and other safety issues,the impact of the tank body of hazardous chemical tankers in the operation process under the impact braking is analyzed(1)The tank model of the hazardous chemicals tanker was established based on actual measurement data,and numerical simulation analysis of the braking impact on the tank was conducted.The influencing factors of tank behavior under braking were analyzed using the theory of liquid sloshing.The parameter settings of the FLUENT solver were determined,and FLUENT numerical simulation was utilized to obtain the braking impact of the liquid under different tank cross-sections,carrier medium,filling rates,and braking excitation settings.The impact force during the simulation process was extracted and analyzed,taking into account the influencing factors,revealing the relationship between the braking impact force and various tank cross-sections,carrier medium,filling rates,and braking excitation.(2)Three commonly used types of the breakwater were selected to analyze their impact on shaking under braking and their suppression effect on shaking impact A custom-defined area ratio was used to quantify the level of suppression.Numerical simulation was employed to analyze the three types of breakwater.By comparing the changes in liquid sloshing phenomenon and impact force curves of the three types of breakwater under braking,the breakwater type with better suppression effect was determined.(3)The strength fatigue life analysis was conducted on the tank structure with a better suppression effect of the breakwater.Preliminary finite element calculations were performed using one-way fluidsolid coupling.The strength analysis was utilized to determine whether the tank structure meets the yield strength requirement By combining the fatigue strength S-N curve,damage accumulation,and local stress,the tank structure was analyzed under the impact load spectrum using Ncode Design life.The fatigue life of the lowest point on the breakwater was obtained as the overall life of the tank,and it was evaluated whether the lowest point meets the life requirements of the tank.(4)An experimental platform was constructed through scaled experiments to obtain the brakingshaking impact curves of the tank under three different filling rates:60%,50%,and 40%.The experimental results showed consistent trends with the braking-shaking impact curves obtained from FLUENT numerical simulation experiments,validating the effectiveness of the model.By analyzing the impact of liquid on the tank of hazardous chemicals tanker under braking conditions,theoretical support is provided for the optimization design of the tank.This analysis also offers safety guidelines for the practical use of the tank.
