A Study On The Shape Of Qujialing Pottery From The Perspective Of Design

Qujialing is historical period that should not be ignored in the Neolithic era.Qujialing culture is very unique and has been extensively researched due to its culture value.It is widely known and had a large influence on the middle reach of the Yangtze River.Qujialing culture is known for the largest number of artifacts unearthed in China during his era.The artifacts of these prehistoric people represent the daily life and social level of this time.Firstly,collecting information on the shape of Qujialing pottery by literature induction and field investigation.In the process of sorting out and analyzing,the shape and type of Qujialing pottery are divided,and the evolution process of pottery shape is summarized.Secondly,from the research it is possible to interoperate: The evolutionary process of the pottery over time.The environment in which it was made.The significance of the pattern on the pottery.The categorizing of the developmental technology of pottery making over time.Then,exploring the role and function of pottery in society and everyday life.Understanding the status symbol of Qujialing pottery during the neolithic time and its impact on other cultures.Lastly,extrapolate the many different meanings of the potteries overarching concept.Including the thought process behind its creation and other core features namely,artistic,social and cultural values.From the perspective of design,this paper studies the creation principle,appliance formation principle,application method,and the design sense of decoration at that time.Through the above research,the shape and system of Qujialing pottery are innovatively designed.The design works should not only inherit the culture and continue the cultural characteristics of Qujialing,but also timely follow up the preference and needs of people in the new era in combination with the development of the times.Tradition and modernity complement each other,so that the design works can not only meet the needs of modern people,but also complete the innovation of traditional culture,so as to achieve better publicity effect and make Qujialing culture be known to more people.
