With the gradual deepening of the concept of "active health",the needs of the general public for tourism have become more diversified.Under this background,health tourism came into being.Health tourism is a tourism product that relies on good natural resources or medical and health care facilities,which can benefit the physical,mental and spiritual health of tourists.As one of the main categories of health tourism,hot spring tourism combines good natural resources with artificial planning and design,which can provide tourists with a good resting environment.However,the current research on hot spring tourism is more about the distribution,development,and utilization of hot spring resources from the supply side,and tourism motivation of hot spring tourists,and the health promotion effect of hot springs on tourists from the demand level.Few scholars have paid attention to tourists’ perception of environmental restoration in hot spring tourist resorts and its effect on tourists’ loyalty.Based on the ABC attitude model theory,this study analyzes the mechanism of hot spring tourists’ perceived destination restorative qualities on their loyalty from the three dimensions:cognition,affect,and behavior.Specifically,to construct the research model,this study uses five dimensions of perceived destination restorative qualities in the cognitive stage:compatibility,extent,mentally away,physically away,and fascination as variables,satisfaction and place attachment as variables in the affect stage,and tourist loyalty as a variable in the behavior stage.This study collects data through questionnaires and uses SEM(Structural Equation Model)to empirically analyze the impact of perceived destination restorative qualities,tourist satisfaction,and place attachment on tourist loyalty,so as to explore strategies for improving tourist loyalty in hot spring tourist resorts.The results show that:the dimensions of compatibility and fascination in the perceived destination restorative qualities have a significant positive impact on tourist satisfaction,and extent has a significant negative impact on tourist satisfaction;the dimensions of compatibility,mentally away and fascination in the perceived destination restorative qualities have a significant positive impact on place attachment,while physically away has a significant negative impact on place attachment;under the mediating effect of tourist satisfaction and place attachment,the impact of destination environment restorative qualities on tourist loyalty works through three mediating paths:first,through tourist satisfaction;the second is the independent mediating effect of place attachment,the third is the chain mediating effect of tourist satisfaction and place attachment.This study empirically tests the mechanism of perceived destination restorative qualities based on the ABC attitude model on tourist loyalty and provides scientific guidance for hot spring tourism resorts to effectively improve tourist loyalty.
