Controlling The Propagation Characteristics Of Circular Airy Vortex Beam Via Uniaxial Crystal | | Posted on:2024-06-13 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:J W Zhang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2530307157484744 | Subject:Engineering Instrument Science and Technology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | With the rapid development of information technology,light as an important carrier for information transmission is widely used in various fields.To meet the customization requirement of laser beams,we have studied different new spatial structured beams deeply.Circular Airy vortex beam has the excellent properties of both Airy beams and vortex beams.The proposed beam not only enriches the types of structured light fields but also provides new possibilities for the application of optical manipulation,biological optics,laser shaping and other fields.Therefore,circular Airy vortex beam has attracted great attention.In recent years,researchers have made further studies on the manipulation of circular Airy vortex beam to develop more adjustable degrees of beams to broaden their application range.In addition,the interaction of structured beams with different substances may provide a good reference for evaluating the role of beams in the real environment.In recent years,uniaxial crystal has been widely used in optical components.The study of the propagation dynamics of circular Airy vortex beam in uniaxial crystal and the optical manipulation provides a reference for the systematic understanding of the dynamics of circular Airy vortex beam,which in turn provides a basis for the generation and manipulation of optical fields with richer properties,and provides guidance for the expansion of the practical applications of circular Airy vortex beam.In this paper,we focus on the interaction between circular Airy vortex beam and uniaxial crystal and its optical manipulation.To study the propagation characteristics of circular Airy vortex beam along the optical axis in the uniaxial crystal and how to control the propagation characteristics of circular Airy vortex beam via uniaxial crystal,as follows:1.The analytical solution of the Hankel transform of the circular Airy vortex beam propagating to an arbitrary plane is derived and then the expression of the light field distribution of circular Airy vortex beam in a uniaxial crystal is obtained,which makes the computational effort of the solution greatly reduced.2.The propagation dynamics and electro-optical manipulation of the first-order left-hand circularly polarized circular Airy vortex beam along the optical axis in a uniaxial crystal is investigated in detail.These studies focus on the effects of the relevant parameters of the circular Airy vortex beam and the relevant parameters of the uniaxial crystal on the focusing ability of the beam.This work further provides a theoretical basis for the regulation of the optical field of the circular Airy vortex beam.3.The universal equation for the propagation of an arbitrary beam after passing through a uniaxial crystal is derived.Based on this formula,the propagation evolution of the circular Airy vortex beam through the uniaxial crystal is studied,and the focal field distribution of the beam after the uniaxial crystal is regulated by the relevant parameters of the beam and the length of the uniaxial crystal.The distribution of the orbital angular momentum density and the spin angular momentum density in the focal plane is also calculated to achieve a flexible and controllable optical field associated with the circular Airy vortex beam. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Circular Airy vortex beam, uniaxial crystal, Abrupt self-focusing, Electro-optical manipulation | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
