| As signal integrity becomes an increasingly unavoidable problem for engineers in highspeed circuit design,simulation analysis has become one of the main means to solve signal integrity problems.S-parameter models,SPICE models and IBIS models are commonly used in simulation analysis.S-parameters are used to indicate interconnection topology and are often used in frequency domain simulation analysis,while SPICE and IBIS models are used to indicate chip models are often used in time domain simulation.analysis.Because part of the data of the SPICE model involves the manufacturer’s core secrets,it is difficult to obtain the model for simulation analysis.The IBIS model is widely welcomed by manufacturers and designers because of its unique characteristics.However,the acquisition of the IBIS model is overly dependent on the manufacturer,and its accuracy is sometimes not guaranteed.Even if the IBIS model is obtained,the model data needs to be modified to comply with the IBIS specification.In order to improve the efficiency of simulation analysis and shorten the time cost,it is very important to obtain a model that meets the IBIS specifications and has accurate data.In order to obtain an IBIS model that complies with IBIS specifications and has accurate data,this paper proposes a feasible solution.Obtain the more important power clamp,ground clamp,pull-up and pull-down I/V curve data in the IBIS model by using actual measurement methods,and use the written IBIS model generation software to check the specifications after the model is generated.The steps are modified to operate at the same time as the model data entry.When using the software to enter the model data,the IBIS specification check can be performed,which reduces the operation steps.In order to verify the feasibility of the solution proposed in this paper,the standardization and accuracy of the IBIS model are tested to achieve the purpose of verification.Use other software tools to perform normative inspections on the generated IBIS model to test the reliability of the IBIS model generation software,and test the IBIS model generation software to ensure the effectiveness of the software.By building an IBIS model verification platform,the actual test results of the chip are compared with the simulation results of the chip to verify the accuracy of the IBIS model.The verification proves the feasibility and reliability of the solution proposed in this article.At the end of the article,I summarized the work done and made a further outlook for the future development. |
