With the continuous development of computer technology, electronic information technology, and image sensing technology, machine vision technology is widely used in transportation, education, sports and other industries, and it plays an increasingly important role.In a variety of high-speed ball games, with the continuous improvement of athletes’ competitive level,it is difficult to ensure the fairness of the game by only using the information observed by the referee from the scene to make the judgment of the game. The Hawkeye system was first created by British engineer Paul Hawkins in 2001.It uses several high-speed cameras arranged around the tennis court to track and record the trajectory of the tennis ball, and then performs a series of processing on the captured tennis movement data. Then through the display device, the three-dimensional sports route and landing location of the tennis are clearly displayed to the audience and referees, which not only overcomes the limit of human vision, but also improves the viewing of the game.At present, relevant scholars at home and abroad have actively explored the Eagle Eye technology, but there are still problems such as high commercialization costs, limited application scenarios, and poor user experience. In this paper, based on reading a large number of domestic and foreign related documents, the Hawk Eye related technologies are studied, and a high-speed camera-based Hawkeye 3D visualization system is designed and implemented. This system uses multiple high-speed cameras set up around the stadium to obtain the two-dimensional image data of the tennis movement. After the multi-camera frame synchronization, the tennis moving object detection, the ball center coordinate extraction, and the reduction calculation, the tennis space three-dimensional coordinates are obtained. Then curve-fit these space coordinates to reduce the error generated in the actual application scene and solve the problem of occlusion of the sphere. Then use 3D Max to build a tennis court model, and import it into the Unity3 D project in FBX format, and then use the Unity3 D platform Mount the script, get the tennis space coordinates from the database in real time, and finally display the three-dimensional scene of tennis sports in an interactive and multi-view way.The results show that the Hawkeye 3D visualization system based on high-speed cameras has good portability and platform compatibility at the system architecture level. In terms of system functions,it can not only interactively display the real-time 3D scene of the game, and assist the referee in the boundary ball It can also help athletes analyze the opponent’s hitting methods and strategies during training, and improve the quality of tennis matches.
