While enjoying the various conveniences brought about by the development of science and technology,human beings also need to always pay attention to the irreversible damage caused by various pollution to the environment,such as air pollution,which has already caused great harm to human health.Therefore,Special attention should be paid to the detection and monitoring of toxic and harmful gases.There are many kinds of materials and composite materials used to prepare gas sensors.At present,metal oxide tin dioxide(SnO2)and its composite materials are widely concerned by scholars from all over the world.In this paper,zinc oxide(ZnO)quantum dots and copper oxide(CuO)quantum dots are combined with SnO2to improve the performance of the gas sensor.The performance of the gas sensor in the test results is compared in an all-round way,and then the properties of the sensitive materials used in the gas sensor are compared.The specific content of this article is as follows:(1)Control the morphology of SnO2material by adjusting the experimental parameters.The sample was characterized and the gas sensitivity test was carried out.The results show that the SnO2-3 sensor exhibits better gas sensitivity performance than the other three samples.(2)Composite ZnO quantum dots can improve the performance of SnO2-3 sensors with relatively regular morphology and good properties.Through characterization and gas sensitivity testing,the following results are obtained:SnO2-3 has decreased sensitivity after compounding ZnO quantum dots,the optimal temperature has increased,and the response-recovery time has been accelerated.It can be seen that the introduction of ZnO quantum dots has little effect on the optimization of the gas sensitivity of the material.(3)Composite CuO quantum dots improve the performance of the SnO2-3 sensor,characterize it and test its gas sensitivity.The results show that the impurity concentration of SnO2-3 increases after the CuO quantum dots are compounded;the gas sensitivity test results show that the optimal working temperature of SnO2-3 is reduced after the CuO quantum dots are compounded,and the selection performance is improved.Therefore,the CuO quantum dots The composite has a significant effect on improving the performance of the SnO2-3 sensor.This work proposes a method to improve the gas sensitivity of SnO2sensors through composite quantum dots,which proves that quantum dot composites have great application potential in the field of gas sensors.
