With the rapid development of new generation mobile communication and Internet of things, massive machine type communication(mMTC)plays an increasingly important role in the smart city, smart grid, smart medical, and other fields. However,at the same time, because of the characteristics of the mMTC devices, such as large number of devices and ultra-low power consumption, the existing traditional cellular network is not fully applicable to mMTC.This brings great challenges and opportunities to the development of mMTC.In order to improve the access success probability of mMTC system, reduce the power consumption of mMTC devices, and reduce the time delay of some mMTC devices, this paper investigates the scheduling schemes in mMTC scenario as follows:(1)This paper designs an efficeient fuzzy time slot scheduling scheme for mMTC.First of all,the system model of mMTC scenario is established,a micro cell division algorithm,a frequency resource allocation algorithm, and a fuzzy time slot concept are proposed respectively in terms of space resource, frequency resource, and time resource to make comprehensive and rational use of multi-dimensional resources. In addition, based on this system model, combined with the sleep scheme,an efficient scheduling scheme is designed, and the scheduling process is introduced in detail.Lastly, the theoretical analysis and simulation verification of the access success probability, time delay, and power consumption performance of the efficient fuzzy time slot scheduling scheme are performed respectively. At the same time, the corresponding fuzzy time slot allocation algorithm is designed to optimize the access success probability and time delay performance.(2)This paper proposes an efficeient distributed layered power domain non-orthogonal multiple access scheduling scheme for mMTC.Firstly, the distributed layered system model is established by combining space resources and power domain resources.Secondly, according to the characteristics of the established system model, combined with the features of the grantfree scheme and the sleep scheme,an efficeient distributed layered power domain nonorthogonal multiple access scheduling scheme is designed.Thirdly, the theoretical analysis and simulation verification of the access success probability and power consumption performance of this scheduling scheme are performed respectively. Finally,in order to improve the access success probability and power consumption performance of the scheduling scheme,an enhanced power-layer choice barring scheme is proposed based on the original scheme, which shows a significant performance gain.
