Scientific reasoning is a high-order thinking ability.As the core of scientific thinking,scientific reasoning ability enjoys unique places in the core literacy of physics disciplines.In order to improve students’ scientific reasoning ability,this study uses a large number of literature,based on existing research foundations,the concept defines the concepts of scientific reasoning,and conduct theoretical discussion on their concepts in physics.Through the LCTSR scale test,understand the profile of students’ scientific reasoning capabilities,the specific conditions and differences of each sub-geodes,whether the scientific reasoning capacity is affected by gender and its relationship with students.Through the interview with teachers,understand the concept of teachers themselves,the extent to which the scientific reasoning ability,the survey results show that the students’ overall reason to reason is not high;the sub-dimensional differences are significant,the conservation and reasonable ability and probability of reasoning are high;Reasoning ability,control variable reasoning ability,related reasoning skills,and assumptions are poor in progress;in terms of the overall scientific reasoning ability,girls should be better than boys,but the gap is not obvious;the students’ scientific reasoning ability is positively related;The correct rate of reasoning results is higher than the correct rate of the reasoning process.According to the principle of cultivating students’ scientific reasoning ability,combined with the results of questionnaires and interviews,the high school students have a weak proportion of reasoning,control variable reasoning,related reasoning,assumptions,the three dimensions,the three dimensions,the corresponding teaching strategy,and through some specific teaching examples explain how to apply these teaching strategies.This study focuses on the investigation of high school students ’scientific reasoning capacity,understanding students’ mastery of scientific reasoning,and proposes principles and strategies for cultivating scientific reasoning capabilities.I hope this study can provide some reference to the teaching practice of the first-line teacher.
