The teaching of traditional ethnic Musical Instruments is very important for the current primary school classroom,in which rhythm plays a dominant role.Rhythm is the skeleton of melody and one of the important elements of music.Pitch needs to be combined with rhythm to form melody,so for primary school students to learn the instrument,the first thing is to master rhythm.The first part of this paper introduces the reason of the topic selection,research status,research significance and research methods;The second part introduces the definition of rhythm,the function of rhythm training and the importance of rhythm in music teaching.The third part discusses the problems existing in the teaching of the group class of Sheng in Kangning Primary School,and discusses the rhythm problems existing in the group class of Sheng according to orff momentum training and recitation language rhythm training,and discusses how to effectively use the two methods in class with teaching cases.The fourth part discusses the significance of rhythm training for the group class of sheng in primary school:arousing students’ interest in learning rhythm,improving teaching efficiency and playing ability of sheng.I hope this article can provide some minor inspiration for sheng teachers.
