| Edwin E.Gordon’s Music Learning Theory was founded by Edwin E.Gordon,a famous music psychologist in contemporary American and music educator.Edwin E.Gordon’s Music Learning Theory includes three important components:musical aptitude and the test,music listening theory,and music learning sequence.It emphasizes the importance of the student as the main subject of music learning and emphasize the content and method of music teaching should be discussed around the main subject of the learner,that emphasis on learning music of understanding.In this paper,the integrated use of Literature,Empirical,Survey and other research methods,combining theoretical analysis and the author’s teaching practice experience to investigate the application of Edwin E.Gordon’s Music Learning Theory that teaching the low-grades students of primary school in music appreciation course.This paper falls into six parts.The introductory section mainly describes the research background of this paper,the current situation of Gordon’s music learning theory research at home and abroad,the research method,the significance of the research and the value of the research,so as to lay the foundation for the smooth development of this paper.Chapter 1 is a theoretical overview of Gordon’s music learning theory and the lower elementary music appreciation class curriculum.Chapter 2 analyzes the status of teaching by conducted the field research of the low-grades students of primary school,and focus on the teaching application strategies in music appreciation course.Chapter 3 analyzes the feasibility of applying Gordon’s music teaching theory to the lower elementary music appreciation classroom,and focuses on teaching strategies.The Chapter 4is to design a music appreciation course of the low-grades students of primary school based on the Edwin E.Gordon’s Music Learning Theory.Meantime,it is conducting a case study to do the teaching record and summary of the Shaoyang Q Primary School in Hunan Province.This paper attempts to apply Gordon’s music learning theory to the teaching of music appreciation class in the lower grades of elementary school.The expectation of this paper is combined the theory and practice to find the ways to solve the problems by using the Edwin E.Gordon’s Music Learning Theory in music appreciation course.Moreover,it is a effective reference by using the Edwin E.Gordon’s Music Learning Theory to do the generalization and the summarization.Orderly and reasonable way,so as to spread new ideas of music teaching,to explore new values of practical application of learning theory,to broaden new areas of fit between learning theory and music teaching,and to provide effective solutions for the application of Gordon’s Music Learning Theory in the teaching of music appreciation class in China.In this way,we can disseminate new ideas of music teaching,explore new values of the practical application of learning theory,broaden new areas of cooperation between learning theory and music teaching,and provide effective references and references for the application and implementation of Gordon’s Music Learning Theory in China’s music appreciation class. |
