An Experimental Research On Model Thinking Teaching Based On Students' Cognitive Level

Based on the relevant requirements of mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education(2011 Edition)on the idea of model,and on the basis of referring to the relevant literature at home and abroad,this paper takes some mathematics teachers of the middle school affiliated to Qiannan Normal University as the interview object,two classes of the same level in grade seven as the comparative research object,and all the students in the class taught by the experimenter as the experimental object.The purpose of this paper is to provide reference for middle school mathematics teachers’ model thinking teaching.After investigation and analysis,the conclusions are as follows:1.Through interviews with some mathematics teachers in the middle school attached to Qiannan Normal University,it is found that:(1)teachers understand the concept of model thought in curriculum standards,but do not have in-depth research;(2)most teachers think that the infiltration of model thought is mainly reflected in equations and functions;(3)most teachers occasionally infiltrate model thought in teaching,but they think that the infiltration of model thought is very necessary(4)teachers think that the infiltration of model thinking should be based on students’ existing cognition,interest points and life reality.2.According to the evaluation theory of solo,it is found that 4 students in the experimental class are at the pre structure level,26 at the single structure level,15 at the multiple structure level and 2 at the related structure level,while 13 at the pre structure level,25 at the single structure level,10 at the multiple structure level and none at the related structure level in the control class.Most of the students are at the level of single structure and multiple structure.3.Through the analysis of the test data before and after the teaching experiment by using spss25.0 software,we know that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class before and after the experiment,the overall level of the experimental class has been improved,and the average score has increased by 10.47 points,indicating that the experimental effect is better.The above results show that teaching design based on students’ existing cognition and mathematics learning guided by teachers are more conducive to the cultivation of students’ model thinking.On this basis,based on solo classification evaluation theory,students’ cognitive level and the relevant requirements of mathematics curriculum standards,the author thinks about the teaching of model thought,and gets the following two enlightenments.(1)Preparation for teaching.Before teaching,teachers should divide students’ cognition and analyze their learning needs;innovate teaching materials based on students’ cognition and the requirements of curriculum standards;pay attention to students’ learning and design the executable teaching activities.(2)Teaching implementation.Teachers should stimulate students’ interest and let them understand the idea of model;let students experience the whole process of model building;guide students to summarize in time and improve their ability of induction and modeling;teachers should pay attention to the process of students’ modeling and make clear the appropriate evaluation methods.
